  1. I think the long queues are definitely the most off-putting part, I'm going to try and meet the guests when their queues are practically empty
  2. Hi guys, last year was the first time I started paying for autographs at Showmasters events. However, whenever I actually met someone, I was just stood there next to the actor/actress in near-silence, and I found myself too starstruck to muster any interesting conversation. So I was wondering, when you meet these guests for their autographs, what kind of conversations do you have, what kind of things do you say? Is everyone talkative or does it really just depend on the person? Give me some examples of conversations you have had, I really don't know what you're allowed to say and how long you have to say it (since queues can be super long at times). Thought this would make a good discussion post, especially for newcomers although I can imagine it has been made countless times before...
  3. ANY character from Breaking Bad - the show is that good that you love every single character, except Marie... Bryan Cranston Anna Gunn Aaron Paul Dean Norris Betsy Brandt RJ Mitte Bob Odenkirk Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada Giancarlo Esposito The show's final episode airs around about a week before this event, so I suspect that demand for autographs from these actors will be high. Thanks
  4. Maybe he'll be the surprise guest next Saturday?
  5. Voted on the poll, I'm just going to arrive super early on Saturday in order to beat the queue. . . Does anybody have any idea as to how many tickets will be put on sale?
  6. It could be Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage acting out a preview scene from season four (with the scripts) before the filming begins. This would explain why they would need to speak to the folks in the US. Although, fans smuggling sound recorders/hidden cameras will always be an issue
  7. Game of Thrones (Jaime Lannister) Also in: Kingdom of Heaven, Oblivion. I'm not really expecting this to happen, but a Lannister photo shoot would be incredible !!
  8. Also, just wondering - can you ask the actor for two? Even if you payed for one? Surely it's up to them at the end of the the day... correct me if I'm wrong
  9. Damn . . . that's a shame about the autograph But I guess without the limit people could just get the actor signing hundreds of autographs etc.
  10. Hi all, I'm planning on getting an autograph (this is the first year I've decided to get actor autographs) and I was just wondering about the procedure. If I meet an actor, and I allowed to get multiple autographs, or just the one? I have multiple items that I want signed, but not if it means I have to pay extra per autograph.... Also, am I allowed to take photographs? Sorry about asking so many questions in such a short space. Thanks
  11. *Bradley rejects his invitation to join comic con* Head of Showmasters: "I'll find another."
  12. I just think he would be a great addition, since his appearance would appease to the fans of multiple series. Particularly after his character's involvement in the Red Wedding scene during last week's Game of Thrones, he'll definitely be in demand.
  13. Harry Potter Dr Who Game of Thrones Captain America Especially after his stint as Walder Frey in the infamous Red Wedding scene last week during Game of Thrones, there would be a lot of people queuing up to meet him. His career stretches across almost every 'nerd favourite'. Known mainly through his role in Harry Potter, he's also had an appearance (and an upcoming appearance) in Doctor Who, and he's even had a minor cameo in Captain America... Thoughts guys?
  14. Yes, this would be great! Rose Lesie will probably be there too, will be amazing listening to her say 'yuu know nothing jon snouuuu' in the flesh!!
