I"m definitely of drinking age, but I don't indulge too much. Well, maybe I do.. with wine. At a party. So, I just might pack some Alka-seltzer.. LOL. I'm going to pack basic clothing for day... jeans and tee's... comfy clothing. For night, I'll stick with something black - which always works. You can dress it up or tone it down depending on the rest of the crowd. I love theme parties but gosh, I don't know if I'd dress up for one. I would feel silly.. I just bought my daughter her halloween costume! Thanks again for the welcome and the good advice. Bella

Hi - I'm new here. I just bought my Gold program and booked the hotel. This is my first convention - I've never done anything like this before. I don't know a single person who is going so I hope that I can make some friends through this board. Can any of you who have been to these kinds of events tell me a little bit about them - how they work, are they fun (I'm assuming they're loads of fun and I'm really looking forward to this), and anything else I should know? (what kind of things to bring for signing, what to wear during the day, to the parties). I really have no idea what I just got myself into - but I'm sure I'll be over the moon when it's all over. ~Bella
