  1. Hi there! I'm Amanda, nearly 38 (mental age about 5). Married, one cat, three lightsabres. Gigantic geek and dorky with it. I've been going to the LFCCs for the past three years and very enjoyable they are too, but have only just discovered this forum. Definitely going to stick around, though.

You want a photo? OK, maybe just a little one. (With Adrian and Milo thrown in. Yummy.)

Looking forward to meeting some of you at the Eclipse convention in March 08!

  2. PEOPLE SHOULD LOVE ADRIAN MORE!

    :D

And SHAME on the person that didnt even have him IN THE PHOTO!

    :YAHOO:

    Word.

Awwww, I wish I'd been able to love him more. That was the worst thing about that photo-shoot - I didn't get a chance to even look him in the eye and he was the one I went to see! Still, I managed to say hi and Adrian said something back.

It was all a bit of a blur. I hope I get another chance to see him someday.

Thanks for the thumbnails, SM - looking forward to getting my photo!

  3. Nobody can ever beat Nathan Fillion. Nobody.

Ahh, now if you're counting previous LFCCs, then you've got a good point there. He was signing nonstop and when the organizers eventually cut off the queue - fortunately I was still in it - and then tried to stop even those few going through (I understand their decision but obviously would have preferred to be let through!), Nathan insisted on seeing all those who were left in the queue, and although he had no time to pose for photos by then, he was still really friendly and cheerful. And the talk with Alan was so funny.

Michael Ironside was lovely too. He made a real effort to talk to me, but unfortunately I turned into a quivering pile of goo and was utterly useless. Got a nice photo with him, though!

  4. Thank you. I know things were a bit manic on Sunday, but considering the circumstances (having to move venue at the last minute, coping with the Heroes guys appearing for only one day and the ensuing havoc) I'm grateful for what I was able to get!

It was a long day (especially for the crew and guests!), but, there seemed to be more than usual around to entertain us once we'd finished looking at stalls and were waiting for autographs/photos etc. (various things showing on HD-TV, Medieval II: Total War tournament). I really enjoyed those.

I always meet the most awesome people here. Roll on next year.

  5. Adrian Pasdar, although the giant thumping crush I have on him may mean I'm biased. (Milo was a happy bonus.) When I saw they were coming and then discovered on the day that they were doing photo sessions together I was ecstatic, and although I only got a few seconds with them in the photo booth, it was still something to treasure. I WISH I'd signed up for Jack Coleman's photo shoot as well, though.

  6. Those of you who left your name and address for the photo sessions, we will be posting these out by the end of the week.

Cool, thanks. BTW, if you find a set of details with a reference number which makes no sense, it's probably mine. [doh] It was my first photo session so I didn't have a clue what I was doing - I had to go back and fill it in again. I am such a dork.

Damn, I can't wait to see what the photo looks like!

  7. I'm just grateful I got a chance to see them at all. I would never have got an autograph as my ticket number was too high. Those poor boys must have been absolutely knackered by the end of it all. I'm guessing that if they'd done both days, it would have spread things out a bit for everyone, but Sunday was all they could do and everyone did what they could in the circumstances, IMHO. I just hope they come back again some time.

I did manage a "Hi, guys," as I slipped in there (I was near the back of the queue so it was going insanely fast by then), made eye contact with Milo (but didn't have time to look at Adrian - sob!) and Adrian said something back (aahhh, that voice), but I have no idea what it was - it was such a blur. But still, it was awesome to be with them. Petrelli sandwich! :WINCE:

(I just pray I don't look too mingin' in the photo, especially as they both looked so classy.)
