It was a bit squishy (and hot), but I got to talk to Noah and his mum, which was very cool. At one point I was right in front of David and Santiago, but I got the Fear and bolted, so that was totally my fault that I didn't get to talk to them! *facepalm*

I booked a Gold Pass (about 26th or so on the list) and booked my rooms at the Park Inn at the same time (the lady confirmed I wasn't the only one doing the pre-emptive booking thing at the time!).
As for how I afford it? I work. Hard. And I save my money for the things which really matter to me.

I think the organizers and crew worked their butts off to make sure the fans had a good time; the initial teething problems were resolved quickly, the events, themed sets and dealer rooms were there to keep us entertained and the free gifts were great. The guests were BRILLIANT. And I met some really cool people! Awesome weekend and I'm signed up for the next one already - CAN'T WAIT.

I'm not leaving until about 3pm tomorrow, so will pack before that (and forget half of it, no doubt - that post about bringing stuff will come in useful I think).

Oh, the temptation. Sounds like some people are willing to spend more money than I would contemplate on some of these things, though! Still, if some of the money's going on a good cause...

I'll be making my list tomorrow, but I shall probably be trying to pack half my wardrobe as I have NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR.
And yes, taking registration letter (and ID) is very important. I forgot my photo tickets for Collectormania MK a few months back and didn't have so much as an email to back me up. Twit.

I think it would be David Anders, because I know him from Alias as well as Heroes, although I'm happy to see all of them.
As for other guests: I'd love to see all of them too (I can never have too much of The Pasdar), but I think that, out of the ones I haven't met yet, I'd most like to meet Greg Grunberg (he's cancelled on me twice!). And Jack Coleman - he walked past me twice at the LFCC on his way to and from his photo shoot, but I never got to meet him and didn't think to book a photo session (drat!).

I've got a Gold Pass so technically I'm booked with all of them. I probably wouldn't have booked with all of them if I were buying them individually, though.

Oh, lord, I have no idea what I'm going to be wearing. Probably black, and lots of it. Reasonably smart casual, I guess. Friday I'm going as a geek (well I already have the look pinned down!).

This is probably a stupid question but I haven't booked any photo sessions as I presume I'm automatically included in all of them with the Gold Pass - is this correct?

I think it's a shame they were mobbed like that, thanks to a minority. I was wondering what was going on when the crowd gathered and then spotted Noah somewhere in there, but didn't go any closer as I was hoping things would calm down so the guests could mingle normally. Guess that didn't happen. I hope it didn't put them off too much.
