Can I say a massive thank you to all the cosplayers who took part in the masquerade. The costumes were amazing and I think everyone had a great time. Also want to say a huge thank you to the people who came to watch the masquerade, as without an audience the masquerade has no purpose. I had a fantastic weekend, and I'm absolutely shattered today. I think next year I also need to change from obscurity and pick something a little more mainstream as only one person recognised the character I cosplayed on Saturday. Sunday however....I got bombarded by loads of pics with my minion cosplay, which was a lot of fun. I'm already looking forward to next year, and I'll need to start planning some interesting costumes :)

Robert Englund photo bombed me one year at lfcc while i was wearing my moogle onesie.... sadly i have no idea who took the photo... but i bet it looked awesome XD and nope... it's not 11.30 pm and i'm styling wigs... nope... not all all.

Like everyone else, my thoughts are with you and your fiancé. Hope she recovers quickly. I've been there a few times recently and I understand what your going through. There will always be next year. Xx

Trust me, once you start meeting people, you'll just feel like part of the family. I remember when I went to my first meet. I felt my cosplay was so inferior, and that people would be judgemental. But after 5 mins, I just felt like I belonged. I'll also make sure I bring along my cosplay repair kit incase anyone has any mishaps. :)

Don't be! More people will likely give you a pat on the back for having tried rather than just buying. Personally I'm finding the cosplay community is becoming less judgemental in terms of buying or making yourself. Which can only be a good thing!

Mine are both just about done. Saturday needs a lil work.... As in I still need to style a wig. Sunday just needs a few lil extras done.... Lol leaving it late!

So everyone I have some great news! This years masquerade will have CASH PRIZES!! Also in additional news I have been advised that there will be changing rooms for the cosplayers!
