Legend of the Seeker Fan Table at LondonFilm&ComicCon
(July 8th to July 10th/2011)

>From Helen:

"The SaveOurSeeker.com team have managed to secure us a fan table
for the 'London Film and Comic Con' in July.
This is brilliant!  :D

UPDATE from Helen:
"Calling all UK Seeker fans, I have one free pass to this weekend's LFCC, in return for signing up to help man the fan table. Interested?"
>>Please reply to Helen here: http://twitter.com/H...718297520013312
*******************************************

They have some fantastic guests, so getting a table is a huge opportunity
for us to expand our fan base over here.

► We'll need lots of people to volunteer to help man the table, the sign up sheet is now up!
You can sign up in one hour slots, so if you can only make an hour that'll be fine.

If you want to volunteer or know someone who might, please contact me or SOTfan, the more the merrier! :)

The event runs from the 8th to the 10th of July at Earls Court, we set up on the Friday evening,
then exhibit all day on the Saturday and Sunday.

► We're running contests with giveaways

-The table will have a combined 'Legend of the Seeker/The Sword of Truth' theme.

-Banners: LotS banner stand; The Omen Machine poster; Small S1/Hulu banner; easel with daily contest

-Flyers: Generic LotS flyer and DVD reviews from DVDTalk.com, business card with useful
URLs (saveourseeker.com, hulu.com/legend-of-the-seeker; legendoftheseeker.org; terrygoodkind.com/forum; cafepress.com/savetheseeker)

-For Display Only: DVDs and books; Laptop running LotS episodes

-Giveaways: spice soup recipe cards, magnets, Wizard's rules bookmark, and buttons

-Contests (prizes: LotS Soundtrack; WFR books; I♥LotS hat, keychain, window decal; tote)

I also want to try and get hold of a couple of DVD sets in Region 2 from ebay if possible.

(And if you want to donate towards buying the DVDs and other goodies, that would be fabulous    )

I'm so excited about this, I really want to grow the Seeker presence and
let fellow Brits know about the show so this is great!"

OMG this is actually awesome I'm a huge fan of Legend of the Seeker and am currently in the process of trying to make a Mord'sith costume. I will definitely be coming to check out your table. Wish I could help with the manning the table but I already have commitments to help a friend of mine on her dealers table.

Guys, will you be on the con all time? Do you know where will be your table?
I started to watch Legend of the Seeker just last week. Like it so far.

Would love to talk about the show with some knowledgeable fans.

Will it be finished for the con?

Sadly no. I'm going as Tonks and Jace Wayland this time round. I'm still trying to find a pattern for my Mord'sith and its proving quite difficult. I'm hoping to have it done for next year.

Hi Arek---G :)
Helen is sorry but she doesn't know eXactly where the table will be located, but says that
they've got a big banner so they it shouldn't be hard to miss

There should be a Seeker fan manning the LotS Table at all times  :D

Maybe Tracy at 'Legend Costumes' can be of help with your Mord'Sith costume:

Or 'Crystal Ball Costumes':

Hopefully, Helen & SaveOurSeeker.com will have a LotS Fan Table again neXt year that you might be able to help out with in full Mord'Sith costume  ;)

'Legend of the Seeker' Fans wanted at 'The Entertainment Media Show' in London
(Oct 1st & Oct 2nd/2011)

>Posted by Helen:

**Seeker Fans needed to help man fan table at Entertainment Media Show**

"Hi everyone,
We have the opportunity to run another table at the Entertainment Media Show. http://entertainmentmediashow.com/

After the success, not to mention fun, of 'London Film & Comic Con', I would love to do this but I need someone, or more, to help me run it.   :YAHOO:

It's on the 1st and 2nd of October/2011, with set up on the Friday afternoon.
It's a great show and they have some brilliant guests, so anyone up for some fun, please give me a shout!  :YAHOO:
http://entertainmentmediashow.com/

At 'London Film and Comic Con' we had so many people come up to the table and say how much they loved 'Legend of the Seeker' and many of them hadn't realized it was canceled, so doing this one as well, can bring our campaign to the fore again.

Not to mention it's great to be able to meet fellow Seekers and talk about the show.  :YAHOO:

If you're interested, please let me know on LOTS.org, Facebook, or you can get me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/Hellsbells265

Just a few hours of your time will be enough!" :)
