Dwight Shultz Photo Refunds

I have now actioned these this morning - please allow up to seven working days for them to reach your account. They have been actioned onto the original card used at the time of ordering.

 

If you have ordered a double photo shoot, then you have been partially refunded for this, and you will still have your photo with Dirk. (Unless of course you have also ordered single shots, whereby you will then have received a full refund for the double).

Your statment is worrying me - I ordered the Dwight and Dirk shoot- as this is not possible surely I should be entitled to a full refund? I'm sorry if I sound negative but I've already had a photo with Dirk so don't want another one. I appreciate that this is inconvenient to you but please refund the full amount. If I wanted a Dirk photo I would have booked a Dirk photo. Sorry if I seem a bit annoyed (but that's cause I am!) I appreciate that guests cancelling is out of your control but surely you can make customers feel a bit better by refunding what they ordered - afterall from a trading standards perspective I am no longer getting what I ordered and should therefore be entitled to the full amount not a subsitution. Before anyone else starts critizing me for wanting a full refund I feel Showmasters are the ones who have moved the goal posts not me. I should be able to choose how I spend my money, I placed an order in good faith and if this was any other type of mail order I would be given a full refund - why is this any different? In spite of the cancelation I was still happy to come to Collectormania Midlands 2 to see Dreyfuss and McGann but this little stunt has completely put me off coming Showmasters events.

 

How do you think Dirk Benedict would feel when he has people like me having a photo with him when we don't want to - how unfair to him as well as to your customers. I can't believe that you would put your guests in a position like this it's not exactly showing them much courtesy is it? I appreciate that guests do change at the last minute and I have still remained loyal but come on guys in the long run by behaving in this way you are not instilling confidence. I've been with you since Collectomania 6 but guess what, I won't be ordering anything else in advance again as I have no way to guarantee I will get my money back when the guest doesn't come.

 

I'd really like to call someone about this is there a number I can contact Showmasters on rather than having to leave messages like this on the board.

That's fine - I've spoken to Showmasters about this and they felt that only partially refunding was a fair way of dealing with this as there are plenty of people who still want a photo with just Dirk. Buying the double shot was actually cheaper than buying two singles, so to alot of people it made sense to purchase the double shot.

 

By all means, we're happy to refund you the full amount if you definitely don't want the Dirk photoshoot. You will have to email me on info@collectormania.com with your real name, address and order number, so I can action this for you.
