  1. I sent off for several signatures via the own item mail in for the previous London conventions and they were mostly moved due to covid, this included Colin Salmon. I have still not received the signed item from SM after more than 3 months and I have been emailing Jason and getting very few replies and when he does reply I get no information, just I am looking... or moving house... I have no idea if they got the plaque signed or not and if they sent it etc. Since April 5th (2 months after the spring event) and my last response from Jason was 19th May, and nothing since despite my various emails since. To make matters worse as I already mentioned, I sent in several other items to be signed at the upcoming London summer event, and Jason has still to confirm if he has got my items for these orders which were sent in (I Still have the proof of signed delivery) from last year. these orders and personal items have cost me a lot of money. I think this is one of the worst customer services I have ever experienced and I am now at the point of not only contacting my CC company but also trading standards, and consulting legal advice regards the loss of my items and expenses for my time etc in having to contact SM rather than them contacting me. I am putting this on here now in the hope I get the response im looking for from someone on here who does care about customer care and also, to warn others of this unbelievable lack of interest from Jason and SM. Suspect it will just get deleted... if it does i will be taking this further.
  2. Agree with all Raylenth says, You will always get people who will not listen, but I am sure the message about shipping time says 2 weeks? I have found it difficult to find information on the website regarding pre-sales, especially after you have purchased, and would suggest it be easier to find and much clearer. I understand you and your team are busy, and this is not aimed at any individual as I have no doubt that you are working hard, and are either volunteering or not paid nearly enough... however I do think that showmasters should put more resources into it, especially if you have multiple events back to back, as ultimately its not the customers fault and should still get the service they paid for. I would happily pay an extra £1 on the shipping if it meant you hired an extra person to get the items out quicker...as an example? Hopefully things will calm down a bit before the next event... Fingers crossed I get it by Monday! Thanks
  3. Still nothing...and no email reply either.... I will give it until Monday. Have to say its the first and last time I use this service.
  4. Thanks for the replies, I don't mind waiting, I expected that. It's the lack of response I don't like as its common courtesy and not very professional. Maybe they could put something on the website to inform us, I was mainly worried that it had got lost either once they had it or if they had sent it, I sent it recorded delivery so know it arrived OK. Obviously I am not having a go at Jason here, if he is doing it all alone, its more about Showmasters not putting enough resources into it. Thanks again, and hopefully Jason can advise accordingly if he comes on.
  5. Hi, Can anyone tell me if they have/have not received their pre-orders from the Cardiff event? I have yet to receive anything, and I have emailed them twice in the last 10 days with no reply. Anyone have a better way to contact someone quicker/more direct before I contact my credit card company to begin recovery of my money? Thanks
  6. Sorry, but if you want guaranteed photo's pay for a photo shoot. Sometimes the guests don't mind and as stated above it quite often starts out with pictures allowed but during the day the signings are too slow and with crowds building a decision has to be made to ensure everyone at least gets an autograph. Today was excellent, Ray Park was brilliant and was allowing photos when we met him, which I was surprised and my son very grateful for, thanks!
  7. We got to meet him at 11.30ish just after he returned from his first photo shoot. He was fantastic, greeted me and my son with a firm handshake and a welcome, allowed pictures and also signed with a quote and added his own message, one of the nicest people I have met at any convention so far. We got stuck behind a couple with their kid who spent about 10 minutes asking question after question, Ray was superb and answered every question and was very patient. I do think the assistant should have moved them on, I'm all for having a photo, asking a question but hopefully people in the afternoon didn't miss out on personalisation or a quick chat due to people taking too much time.
  8. Great day, Left London at 6.30 am, arrived at 9.15am, wife went shopping. Me and my son had early bird tickets and got in by 9.30, we was out again by 10.15 having got the 3 autographs he wanted, (Noel Clarke, Gareth David-Lloyd and Sylvestor McCoy) and had a quick look around before heading to the Dr Who Experience. We finished there and had some lunch and left Cardiff at 1.30pm, home at 4pm. Perfect.
  9. For those asking about the plaques, his name is Rich, his email is feezlenuts@gmail.com, please tell him Marty referred you as I have told him to expect a couple from here to contact him. He can make most shapes and sizes, and with virtually any design. He can't do certain logos for copyright reasons, such as Lucas arts, or master replicas etc. Let me know how you get on Thanks
  10. Is there a PM system on here, I don't want to leave his email address in an open forum... I tried the feed on your profile... Not sure if it worked? Can you give me anymore details about the guy who makes the plaques. I think they look really good.
  11. CThese are superb! Do you make the labels yourself? Was the light sabre one home made or did it come with the item blank and you got it signed over the weekend? Really looks superb! The lightsaber is made by Master Replicas and is a stunning prop replica, and is even 18kt Gold plated in areas. You can pick these up on forums or eBay for £250/300. They made the sabers/blasters etc for all the main chracters, even the thermal detonator, Jedi remote and emporers cane! They come with limited edition or signatures depending on the item, unfortunately the Sidious saber never had an official signature version, so I got the plaque made and got him to sign it. I get the plaques made from a guy in the States, about £6 each.
  12. Ian was fantastic when we met him at 5.30 on Sunday... I had thought we would miss him, but luckily they did first come first served after his last photo shoot. I wanted to get him to sign something in particular so didn't mind the cost. I had heard he was a bit of a misery, but he was still smiling and happy to chat and sign even at that time.
