This is very encouraging!!! I know there is no guarantee, but just the thought that Jason/Showmasters may approach some of the above guests is very good news indeed!

I for one think that the DP are a good idea! I am not someone with bottomless pockets, but if it's a guest, like say Christopher Lee, that I would otherwise not have any chance of ever meeting, I personally welcome the opportunity regardless of it being slightly more expensive than other big guests that may not need a DP's. I personally never attend talks etc, but I can completely understand that to get the guest over there has to be a larger 'special' and consequently more expensive package to make sure that costs are covered to get that guest in. I personally, much prefer the opportunity to meet an A list guest that otherwise would not attend under the 'normal' way of doing things than not have that option at all! Looking forward to hearing who the first DP guest will be.....!

I think for me, DP would need to be big and notable actors such as: Sir Christopher Lee Jodie Foster Sigourney Weaver Harrison Ford Sir Anthony Hopkins Sir Ian McKellen Julianne Moore Julia Roberts Sir Ian Holm Liam Neeson .... And the like

That's a shame. Hopefully he will return to another event. On the plus side at least it frees up more money to another guest :)

I was thinking the same myself, which would be quite frankly AMAZING!

I personally, as I'm sure many others, would be ecstatic to see either Christopher Lee or Ian McKellen announced for this event! Both 'legendary'. I know that Christopher is unlikely to attend due to his age/health but I can dream! As for Ian as many know he is good friends with Patrick Stewart who does attend cons, so it wouldn't surprise me if he would attend but maybe just hasn't been asked... Yet! Please Showmasters, make the call Other than the above, it would be great to see Hamill and/or Fisher or even Samuel L Jackson!
