Cosplay Stage Timetable and content details

Here is the full timetable for the Cosplay stage during the weekend, we'll have guest panels, competitions and the main event the Community Masquerade were the winner will receive £200 cash and will secure a place in the Professional Masquerade at next years LFCC. Below the timetable are descriptions of all our content and panels.

 

Saturday

Welcome to the Cosplay Zone

At the start of the day we'll be speaking to our guests and talking about all the content we'll have during the weekend. This is a great opportunity for attendees to ask our guests any questions.

 

Aranel presents “Working with Fabric 101”

A beginners guide to creating cosplay using fabric with sewing tips. How to select the perfect fabric for your costume and get the most out of it.

 

Cosplay Blind Date

With a similar format to the old ITV show of the same name but with a Cosplay twist, three audience members will be asked questions by one of our guests and whoever is picked will receive a prize donated by Pop 'n' Candy. Dates with guests are not included in this game show.

 

Lip Sync Battle

If you've seen the trend on TV you'll know all about this reverse Karaoke, if not then a quick you tube search will show you all you need to know. We are taking sign ups online but also during the day of the show. Pick a song which you think best fits your Cosplay and then give it all you can to compete for a prize and the glory of being the best Lip Sync battler in Sheffield.

Asylum Star, Lunacille & What you see here Cosplay present – “Cosplay on a budget”

Our Cosplay guests will present a panel on how to enjoy cosplay on a budget, our passions don't have to cost us the earth and there are lots of great ways you can enjoy this hobby without buying expensive costumes and props. Everyone should be encouraged to join this fantastic community and our guests are here to help you. Listen to their tips and ask them questions during this informative panel.

 

Community Masquerade
We have one at each show but now they mean even more to the talented winner of each day as the prize is £200 and a place in next years LFCC Professional Masquerade including a ticket into the show. You'll also get a photoshoot which will be used on Showmasters website to announce each winner that goes onto the Professional Masquerade so you can check out the competition.
