timelord81r
Thanks for the links. I used to have a few of these. They do seem really dated now don't they, lol some do yer (ive also got some on vhs/dvd) but that adds to their charm, also some of the candid info is really good and very interesting. and with these being in the 90s memories are much fresher than they would be now, its also lovely to see interviews from those we have lost and can no longer hear from. I agree that it adds to the charm. There is such an innocence to them at times as far as the questions and replies. Now thanks to similar and of course the various conventions bothe the interviewers and the interviewees are much better and more comfortable with the whole concept of what they are all about. It must still be so strange for actors "not stars/celbs" that get invited to do a signing or convention not knowing what is expected of them, how the people will be and what they will be asked. Will they get put in an awkward positon with a question etc. I'm sure that if they were made now they would be so different with the subjects being a lot more candid and less concious of it being a bit a wee bit unusual. It is lovely to see the people that we have lost as they bring back so many memories. It's such a shame that none of the younger Doctor Who fans or older fans that have got into the series since it's revamp and it becoming cool to watch the show will never get the chance to see how great Jon Pertwee was as a storyteller live on stage. At least with these old Mythmakers tapes you get to see something of the people you never got to see live or even interviewed on TV shows as they weren't seen as stars or celebs.
