John Leeson played K-9 through several years of Tom Baker's era, reprising the role for the first ever Doctor Who spin-off K-9 and Company and the anniversary special The Five Doctors. He recently returned to the part for new series episodes School Reunion and Journey's End, as well as the new spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures.
