  1. Thanks for sharing - for Michael Lonsdale, were they allowing posed photos and personalisations on the Sunday then?

It was possible to take a picture while sitting next to Michael, Michael would not get up for a standing posed picture but i wouldn't have expected it anyway. I was already surprised to see him standing for the shoots.

Personalisations were ok on Sunday morning at least, but there was absolutely no one when i went to meet him. Never seen an event so quiet.

I think he was more busy on Saturday and read that personalisations had to be stopped because he was making mistakes. He did spelled my name wrong, but i have no issue with it, i know he meant to dedicate it to me. He also even made a mistake in his own name.

Michael is a great person and i was honoured to meet him.

I also read here and there some people got issues with his assistant on Saturday, i have to say the assistant was lovely and totally willing to help when i met him on Sunday, i must take this opportunity to thank her for all the help.

  2. I'm not sure all of them would be willing to do cons (Heather Locklear?) but those who are would be perfect fits for an Autographica show.
I doubt though with the show being so close now that such a reunion is in the plans as i would expect one or two guests at least already being announced if that was the case.

  3. I got his auto in my James Bond book, but passed on having a second one on a 8x10 because of the price idd. He was happy to personalize though, but if i wasn't collecting autos from James Bond characters in my book i would have simply skipped him totally.

  4.

The tickets you saw going in were old store tickets, those looked like the tickets sold on the day but the on the day ones had a marking.

True, but not all crew seemed to know the difference which is quite important imo if you're in charge of organizing lines for photoshoots!

People who bought a shoot for Alexander Siddig on the day were put in front of those who bought tickets online the day of his announcement.

I know for a fact because there were no old store tickets for him, every yellow ticket was a ticket sold on the day, and i needed to go through fast because i had to go to Carice Van Houten's shoot at another booth. Still, despite my eticket batch 1 i was told "yellow tickets first" by the person in charge, to whom i adressed the concern, and he said he didn't know.

So i wouldn't be surprised this happened at other shoots too.

  5. How is SMs own LFCC programme NOT an official announcement ?

That happened sometimes in the past that a guest was announced in a program or on a flyer you could pick at another event before being announced right up here.

And tbh i quite like that, it's always a nice surprise. First thing i do when having a look at future event's ads is looking for any name that has not been announced on here yet, that usually makes my day when i see one i want to meet and adds to the positive mood of the day :)

  6. I don't recall any guest from The Strain being announced for the con, or am i missing something?

I have the same issue with The Musketeers, the boxset is only out here in Belgium on... 22th of July :( That's bad luck as i would have loved to get it signed @ LFCC

  7.

A friend of mine (who is not on the forum) is only making it on the Friday.

He has a Batch 3 ticket for Neve Campbell, but his Eurostar back is leaving St Pancras @ 19.34

For Eurostar, we are being requested to be at the station 45 min before departure time to allow time for security and passport check-ups.

Counting the underground trip from Olympia to St Pancras, he obviously needs to leave around 18.15, ten minutes before Neve's second shoot.

Showing his Eurostar ticket to the crew, would he be allowed to get in the 1st photo session earlier in the day?

Please let me reassure him lol

From TooTall's numbers at the start of this thread, Batch 3 for Neve may possibly be part of the first shoot anyway.

In any case, go to the photo shoot area and talk to the pit boss (in red) and they will see what they can do to help.

Thx, will let him know to do so :) Greetz

  9. I've changed the first post, you can use your Friday ticket on Saturday or Sunday.

If you require a refund please email shop@showmastersevents.com with your order number.

Anyone that has already bought a Saturday or Sunday ticket please email shop@showmastersevents.com with your original Friday order number and the new Sat/Sun order number and we'll refund the new one.

Thanks for allowing the day swap, much much better option! :)

  10. Wow! So saying someone is in the country is considered as discussing other events!!!! I'm astonished!

Also, removing posts without informing the poster is not really a good solution as the poster might think his original post didn't go through for some reason (namely a bug for instance or a loss of connexion while posting, that happens quite often to me while in public transports and using my phone)
