confused

The props and exhibits sound good The only similar things I've been to are the REMOVED, both at Excel. I enjoyed the demonstrations they had of martial arts, drumming and sushi making! Will this have anything like that? They also had lots of screenings of films and various series as well as computer games and competitions. I understand a lot of people enjoy collecting autographs and meeting the guests but for me I'd rather spend the money on more comics and dvds! EDIT - Please be aware it is against forum rules to name any event or organisation not affiliated with Showmasters.

Please could someone explain what actually happens at these conventions? The website doesn't go into much detail. From what I can see, there's: Stalls (excellent) Talks (could be good) Photographs and autographs (doesn't interest me at all) I'm sure there must be lots of other stuff happening, but what?! Thank you!
