Just re-sent application as advised elsewhere on forums.

  3. I'm cosplaying crew

Does that mean you have your confirmation, or that you're hoping? I've put in to work it, and I'd love to be part of thecosplay crew. I do a mean Elwood J. Blues...

  4. I have delayed my Super!Hoodie from Misfits costume now.

For this event I will hopefully have a Babydoll from Sucker Punch costume done.

    Yes thats right, me...a guy...

I thought 1) the costumes in that movie are too cool to pass up and 2) girls cosplay as guys all the time at these events. Time to take some of that back and have a go myself B)

    Means wearing heels though

Now here resides a man who is comfortable with his masculinity!

  5. I was at an event back in 2001, when LeVar was drafted in very late to cover for Jeri Ryan after 9/11 disrupted her filming schedules. I was the person who asked (allegedly) The Best Question Of The Event. This question prompted LeVar to reveal to the whooooole room that he had recently donated a kidney to his mother. I've never heard such complete, total, shocked silence, before or since! Couldn't afford to get a picture signed though, as had to save up all my pennies to get Garrett Wang and Roxann Dawson.

  6.

Also as for buses, they'll announce three then the first two will fail to turn up when they're supposed to and all three will arrive at once. :YAHOO:

Not to worry, Arriva have quite a presence in the area, so I'll pop down the local shed, get their OM to talk to my OM, then Bob's your mother's brother, we got a bus and driver ready to go!

  8. The thing is, they'll have enough shop talk going on with the people they're signing things for. On my two days, they seemed more interested in talking about my day-job than their glory days!

  9. I remember you!!! You were a couple of seats to my right! It was a right laugh with Ron and the guys around him! Almost non-stop banter all day long. I think I had Peter Bonetti to my left. Ron was so fast with the autographs and the shirt production line, poor Peter was getting overwhelmed!

  10. Thanks for being a great Pit Boss, Joyce.

We must have worked together, but can't see your pic to see who you are! Lol.

I did Saturday in the Sports Section. I was looking after Marvin Hinton. I'm Eileen :)

Was he a Chelsea player? I was with Ron Harris

  11. The sports area was freezing half the time - it suddenly got very warm if you went about 5 metres into the rest of the hall, but as someone who spent all weekend working with the sports guests in the cold part of the hall, I'd have enjoyed a little bit of heat ;)

Temperature was okay for me, it wasn't too hot, if anything the sports area was too cold.

As one of the Sports GAs for the weekend, I agree it was a tad chilly down that end, but this was due to the fact that there were two refridgerated artic trailers directly below us, keep the (beer?) drinks cool for the show downstairs, but my jumper was enough to keep me warm. Well, that, and the amazingly funny banter between guests who have known each other for decades!

  12. Thanks for being so understanding with this eager-to-please newbie on both days. I did try and stop my guest going when he did, but wasn't sure how much begging I was allowed to do!
