Thanks guys! I'm definitely not a pro, I just got it passed down when my dad got a new one. I'll try and be aware of when I can take pictures but thanks for the info.

This year will be my first con ever! I'm so excited about it-got my tickets for early entry on the Sunday and Shatner's talk. Does anyone know if I'll be allowed to take my DSLR into the con? Some places have rules that if you can change the lens then it's a professional camera and it won't be allowed. I've been trying to find an answer on the site but can't find anything definitive.
