  1. How about Natalie portman or kiera knightly and Hayden Christenson or Christopher lee

    Natalie would be nice but isn't too fond of signing Star Wars.

    Keira would be lovely, her auto is a KK and has an aversion to having her photo taken.

    Hayden would be frickin awesome, his finest four hours were in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith

    Christopher? Interesting suggestion

    I understand the point...Harrison Ford it's impossible.But,if Harrison Ford it's in my wishlist i have to say.

    P.S.:I'm not so interested about Harrison Ford -_- ...

    Fully respect your views on this.

    Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely die if Michelle Pfeiffer was announced as a Guest, she's on my wishlist, heck so is Tarantino, i.e. someone who I would like to meet as a Guest but know the possibilty is near enough zilch :)

  3. Please not this again. People are just going to be spouting out any random name with no thought or basis given to it.

    Just wait.

    Agreed. People here throw out such ridiculously big names like:

    Harrison Ford.

    Mr. Spielberg.

    George Lucas

    Tom Hanks

    et all

    Which makes me wonder if they:

    A. Have all the money in the World to expect MASSIVE names attend an event where the biggest names have been obviously Stan Lee and Gillian Anderson.

    B. Well the a sums it up.

    There are names that would attend events such as this, and then there are names that wouldn't, and then out of the goodness of your Heart you try to explain to people just why so and so wouldn't attend etc etc and its like talking to a frickin brick wall.

    Although in keeping up with the Spirit of this thread, I'm guessing Andrew Lincoln (best known to me for roles in Drop The Dead Donkey and Love Actually - which is something I'd love him to sign) and of course the smart money is on Mark Hamill.

    Kurt Russel would also be a good guest, I loved him in the Robert Zemeckis classic Used Cars :)

  4. I wonder how ridiculous and outlandish this thread will get before Friday :closedeyes:

    My thoughts as well. Although if the past is anything to go by you'll get the usual suspects.

    Harrison Ford

    Mr. Spielberg.

    George Lucas

    Arnold Schwarzennegger

    Tom Hanks.

    Alan Rickman

    Christopher Lee

    Sean Connery

    JRR Tolkien

    etc etc etc

  5. I don't mind going to get the tickets on the day, I just worry that there may be too much of a queue, given that everyone who wants to meet Erin will have to queue up to buy tickets on the day if they're not added to the online store. I doubt SM are purposefully withholding them from us, there's probably a good reason why they're not up yet, it's just a little bit frustrating.

    The conspiracy theorist in me would love to think that they are doing so because of a possible double shot with a guest who could also possibly be attending.

    N.B. This is merely me speculating that Ben Mckenzie could be announced as a guest and would make many #Gotham fans bally excited - and is in no way any indication that I am in cohorts with SM, their affiliates, their family, their pet tortoise named Gerald and the bloke they once met on the tube when they were with Jeremy Paxman a week before a leaders debate.

  6. With both the delightful Erin Richards and Anthony Carrigan attending Collectormania, I'm sure I speak on behalf of many others when saying that it would be FAB to see other guests from this wonderful show attending future events, I frickin love Gotham and this would be cool to see such talented cast attend :)

    * Ben McKenzie.

    * Donal Logue

    * Robin Lord Taylor.

    * David Mazouz.

    * Cory Michael Smith.

    * Sean Pertwee

    And of course Selina Kyle/#Catwoman herself

    * Camren Bicondova

    :)

  7. This announcement is something I've long been expecting and it just goes to show what kind of a terrific guy Kenny is that he still wants to meet his Fans he truly is a wonderful person and its been a real pleasure to have met him several times over the last few years and its no lie when I say that some of my most appreciative Autographs are from Kenny himself.

    On the point that he will be signing for Fans only and not dealers is also a very good decision (because many times real Fans miss out at the hands of some dealers who couldn't care less who they're meeting as opposed to Fans who have been admirers/long term Fans of a Great Artists work)

    IF any member of Kennys family is seeing this or indeed reading this? Please do pass on my very best wishes to Kenny - all my love, King Richard :) X

  8. We were in London for the day, they had a special screening in Leicester Square:

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/qrEjg3kHU3I

    (Check us out at 00:38)

    And BOY WAS IT THE BOMB! April 16th was a very good day to be a Star Wars Fan, we were shown the TEASER twice! Like OMG! We were all totally blown away by it, arguably the biggest cheers went to seeing Han and Chewie aboard the Falcon- absolutely nothing compared to Thursday and absolutely nothing could come close.

    The last time I experienced a collective Star Wars atmosphere like that was ten years ago when we saw the first screening for Revenge of the Sith- absolutely Fantastic!

    haha that is seriously the coolest thing ever!! :thumbup: I don't even know what Id say to Kermit Id probably just stroke his head and ask him to sing something. I think you're wise not to post the kissing one, I wouldn't want the wrath of miss piggy!

    Its seriously one of the things orf my bucket list. :)

    To be fair, most of those who went up there to meet them were in the same boat, not knowing what to say, in fact I have a Friend who's job is to interview stars what have you, and he's not one to be speechless, was kinda funny how Pepe told the guys girlfriend how to treat him.

    Agreed, no one would like to be on the receiving end of those fists ;)

    Fists or hoofs?

    Hoofs- but technically I can't have any contact with Miss Piggy seeing that I'm Jewish an all so I'll leave all the non Kosher puns to Kermit himself

    I hope this video

    can get a few laughs especially at 02:55 when Kermit says:

    "I'll just make another bacon reference-" Enjoy folks :)

    Thats so cool you got to meet them! Out of interest, how did that come about? Where was it you met them?

    Back in June 2012 there was a promotional appearance by them for "The Muppets" DVD/BluRay release in a very well known store (which I'd prefer not to name) I had a loyalty card with this store that saw both myself + 1 guaranteed places (it was my +1 who lived miles away from London and he took a shedload of pictures when I was up there with them, one good turn deserves another and all that) originally the meet and greet as it were was supposed to be an hour or so but this went to two hours, although for OBVIOUS reasons both Kermit and Pepe needed "Potty breaks" so they could continue to interact and meet with their Fans- (Fans whom all got signed cards signed by Kermit himself) :)

    Kermit the Frog? I think most of us would be hopping with delight if it was him. Anyone not able to meet him would be green with envy.

    I doubt Miss Piggy would be very happy though she'd make sure none of the girls gave him a hug in the photo and to be honest she scares me a little so I wouldn't risk a hug. On the subject though would the Muppets ever appear because that one who's a prawn (pepe?) is the cutest thing ever :wub2:

    Very much doubt the Muppets would appear, Pepe the King Prawn is quite the flirt and believe me has the potential to upstage Kermit

    TheresjustsomethingaboutthispictureofKer

    OMG IS THAT YOU WITH THE MUPPETS?!!! :thumbup: *if it is thats so awesome if not apologies*

    That is indeed me with both Kermit and Pepe, when I was reading something to both of them about Jim Henson. I could post many more pics, one of me kissing Kermit... but I won't in case Miss Piggy gets on my case.

    I have never been so starstruck in all my life as I was when Kermit and Pepe greeted me, because at the end of the day it is actually both Kermit and Pepe addressing you. :)

  14. Has anyone said George Lucas yet?

    *waits for links to be thrown my way as he's probably been mentioned but I can't remember*

    because since everyone seems to think it could be to do with Star Wars

    I also think it could be Peter Jackson. Im leaning towards someone older and to me Johnny Depp is not old nope so it can't be him :smile:

    His son was here back in 2013 - one degree of seperation and all that ;)

  15. I bet its Wee Jimmy Krankie

    KingRichard76 is waiting with his credit card for the all go

    THat would be FANDABBYDOZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Alas, one could dream of meeting him, alas, one could dream of meeting the original cheeky chappie.

    WHY?! Why do you have to say such things, who could ever forget the Krankies

    I'd rip out both my lungs and kidney to donate to medical science to meet them- OR Roland Rat, Timmy Mallet, Tommy Boyd, "We're ready and we're wide awake so get set g-"

  16. Just announce the guest already. This thread is doing my head in. And I'm sure im not the only person who is tired of it.

    You and me both.

    Tom Hanks looks out of the picture as his Wife Rita Wilson is currently recovering from a recent Double Mastectomy due to being diagnosed with Breast Cancer ...The very good news is she's expected to make a full recovery

    He was never in the picture.

    "Whatever you are into them or not you will know this person, and whatever you will all agree they are an A list guest"

    I actually do think its certainly a very well established person, someone exceedingly famous and could or could not have something to do with the two other big main themes that are going to celebrated at LFCC, mainly:

    Empire Strikes Back

    Back To The Future

    IF, like the who killed Lucy Beale storyline in EastEnders i'd have to put some money on it I'd be considering both of these main franchises although I'm leaning more towards the latter than the former.

    I don't think it's connected with those franchises, as Jason has said it's not someone you'd expect. And really the only one fitting the bill as and A-lister from those is Harrison Ford, and we know it won't be him. As for Michael J Fox, I think he's in the same category as Danny Glover. Huge when the BTTF movies came out, but not so much now. He would be an excellent regular guest, but not the once in a lifetime opportunity A-list.

    Just my humble opininion.

    Couldn't agree with you more about Harrison for reasons I've stated before :)

    This is gonna be when on Thursday Jason throws a name out that (I guess for some - if the past is indicative of this) it could be an obscure name, but I don't feel this would be the case as Jason seems rather excited about this.

    Agree with you about Michael J Fox and Danny Glover :)

    The multisig element that Jason mentioned is also rather curious, which clearly lets us know that he/she has been in a movie/set of movies where it would have been a given that Autographs from the cast have possibly been obtained before, probably at a SM event. I'm also willing to bet that they've been in more films than which they are most well known for.

    <---- I need some coffee, STAT! :)

  18. Well, King Richard, what do you think about theese thoughts?

    I think its an older person that has been famoues for quite some time. The reason for me thinking this is because of the comment "This is a one off agreement with us and this will be the only time we will have this guest attend any of our events so do not think you will get another chance again as it never going to happen again ." This kinda says its something that they might never do again... (Which might happen again since they might like it :D ) if it would be a younger person than I would have a hard time imagining that comment to be true.

    I mean take Danny Glover. :) Imagin it would have been right after they released the third movie of lethal weapon. If that would have been now then I would NEVER thought that he would attend a con. But he has attended a few now :) (maybe he had when he was in Lethal Weapon to, but I donno about that)

    This is rather a tricky one, what we have here is a guest that we have all heard of:

    "Whatever you are into them or not you will know this person, and whatever you will all agree they are an A list guest"

    I actually do think its certainly a very well established person, someone exceedingly famous and could or could not have something to do with the two other big main themes that are going to celebrated at LFCC, mainly:

    Empire Strikes Back

    Back To The Future

    Totally agree with your statement:

    "I think its an older person that has been famoues for quite some time"

    Because clearly this person has been around for a bit, which would suggest him being in his twilight years or at least approaching them with grace and grandeur, I'd say its both that and the "Limited activitiies" comment that Jason mentioned a few days ago, "Limited activities" would suggest that they MAY find it difficult to take part in many things that someone a tad younger may be able to participate in, for an example our dear Friend Dave Prowse, the last time I saw him was at LFCC last year and he went to visit his one time estranged daughter Carrie Fisher (he was in his wheelchair) if one is in a wheelchair or indeed may have an illness or a disability of some kind then this would suggest they'd have their activities limited, we also know (If any had read Jasons post) that they will be here all three days so if we are to go on this assumption we can at least say they are of an advanced age or not in good health or indeed both.

    I have my own theories as to who they are based on this assumption.

    Then again, on the flipside of the coin I have seen how people automatically read what Jason has said and takes parts of this as if they are a clue of some kind, last year we had this when Jason said something along the lines of "This guest is cool" many thought he meant Henry Winkler, it turned out to be Michael Madsen.

    Ideally I'd love it to be Irvin Kershner - but thats not gonna happen :(

    Seth McFarlane maybe? I could probably Google this, but, meh.

    I think he does cons over the pond but it would be amazing!

    "SHUT UP MEG!" "Giggity!" "What the deuce!" etc etc :)

    I should've said it'd be "freakin' sweet"

    Can I also add that I do a very good Consuela impression. I can hold a full blown conversation in her voice. Kids in my class are like "dance monkey dance" with it etc ;)

    "This really grinds my gears!"

    You do a very good Consuela? Nooooo. sorry, we're gonna have to record ourselves Queen Elizabeth II, Consuela, Kermit the Frog and Jeremy Clarkson ;)

    I'm down for that. I can also do Stewie (kinda) and pretty much any upper class voice. Prince Philip is a specialty too ;)

    Oh really you vile woman! - Yeah I need to work on that a bit ;) Cool whip, cool whip.

    Mom, Mom, Mom, Mo-

    With my Queen, your Prince Phillip and my Prince Charles we'd have a right riot - and if we are talking upper class, well as you know I come from Thorpe Bay, ya, ya, ya, fabbo to that, oh rather, what what what.
