Anthony Daniels has been mentioned in this thread - won't be him.

Alan Rickman - has an aversion to signing Potter.

As for other names that have been mentioned - I won't repeat myself... But Harrison Ford is FAR too big and unless you're willing to spend a three figure sum (which would be well worth it etc) same with Stallone. Sigourney et al et al et al.

With Alan, Isn't a more of a case that.. he prefers to sign what he is currently in, so won't sign HP if you see him at a stage door..

No he doesnt sign HP stuff at any ocassion whatsoever. Premieres, stage doors, though the mail, nada.

Oooh, i didn't realise. That sucks.

I had a friend who met him recently outside where he was working (in London, she knew someone working at the same place and told him when he would be there) and he signed a Snape product for her!

She's been very lucky then :) I know he's done it in the past, but normally not at all.

It took camping out in Trafalgar Square for three nights, with all kinds of weather, being hassled by inebriated alcoholics begging for water, extremely hot sun one minute then a deluge of rain the next, then on the day of the Premiere itself about four Harry Potter Fans being taken out by paramedics from fainting etc etc etc - BUT I still claim that it was worth doing the last Harry Potter Prem to get Alan Rickman (who was on our side of the red carpet) to sign my Harry Potter DVD - I don't mind telling you that I was nearly sick with pride as I knew what a big thing this was.

    J.K. also signed it :)

i was here too and Alan signed my book too

Along with JK <3 We were there for four nights and the first night was AMAZING then it was terrible lol

You'd have got there on the Sunday :) I'm glad that we both shared that same experience of Alan and J.K.

My overriding memory of that whole time would have been Tuesday night when it totally bucketed it down and people went to the local tube stations to get oodles of free newspapers to cover the dampness and use as shelter - and the smell that ensued. I have to admit I was so fed up at that point I took my very wet sleeping bag and paid about £4 in the local internet cafe - then the next day we practically were queuing up in a certain fast food restaurant using their hand dryers to get all our wet clothing dry.

It was certainly one heck of an experience that defo paid off :)

  2. Many who know me would know that my first celebrity as in movie star crush was Michelle Pfeiffer, I was 16 when Batman Returns was released in 92 and I'm not ashamed to admit that at the age I'm at now Michelle Pfeiffers' #Catwoman has a HUGE place in my Heart.

Although when I was of a more innocent age, it was the very cheeky monkey who made getting up early on weekends (yep I was very young then) and on Summer hols well worth it for the very bubbly, Fortified with giggles and a lovely onscreen manner... THe one... THe only Michaela Strachan :)

I had a chance to meet her in 2013 she was a real delight to meet, very sweet, very kind and that particular meeting went against the grain of that age old maxim of "Never meet your heroes." she was frickin awesome.

  3.

    A pic of? :)

Your DVD from the HP Prem

I do have a pic - although when it comes to Autographs i am very private on that side of things, Autos are a very personal thing to me hence why I never post pics either on here, Twitter etc - but yes I do have a picture, next Saturday if ya see me, hit me up and I'll show you it you're more than welcome to see it :)

Whoever he/she/it is, please also bring in EVA GREEN. Yes? Thanks!

Ohhhhhh Eva. She was the best thing about Sin City 2 #YUM ;)

  4. P.S. I'm reminded of the time I met Denis Lawsons' nephew a few years back, he was going along the line for us signing one thing after the other respectively, I had my Star Wars bluray which he signed, the guy RIGHT next to me also had a multisig Star Wars item - he didn't wanna know. Mind you, Ireckon he must get pretty fed up of signing Star Wars stuff - so its always one of those things thats bound to happen

  5. When he signed around us, he was checking for HP stuff and did not sign that, even at a HP premiere.

As for the fact that he'd have to sign HP if he attented a con, that's why I don't think he would attend. Besides other things, I don't think he is the convenion type.

Its experiences like this that just reinforces the whole ethos of this - how some stars can be whether its something they are happy to sign or not, how gregarious they can be- I reckon even the Worlds most accomplished mathmetician/physicist etc would have a brain melt if forced to write out a flow chart of all the variables that make up whether a Star signs or not. if a Star wishes to or not, whether they are having a good day, if they feel somewhat insecure, etc etc

This is the thing precisely, there are those within the business who are very shy/quiet/want their lives to be private - I keep thinking of his character from Galaxy Quest and how the character felt about conventions and the whole Fan genre.

  9. I'm most looking forward to meeting the Dudley's and Velvet for the first time. Seeing as Velvet is a huge fan of Oreos I was going to get her some to give to her on the day.

Is it ok to give guests gifts or is it prohibited?

From what I understand its more than ok to give gifts - although I think (unless someone else can clarify this) anything edible isn't allowed.

  10.

As a HUGE Drop the Dead Donkey fan I'd very much like it if cast members from that superb show was announced, lets face it back in 2012 at Collector we had the star of the show, Jeff Rawle :)

Jeff has been announced for the Winter London Con. :)

And I'm really enthRAWLEd ;) ABout this, he is such a nice guy to meet, (from what I've heard he was in Harry Potter and Hollyoaks) but for me its all about Drop The Dead Donkey, a few weeks back I got to meet Robert (Gus Hedges) Duncan when he was in Theatre down here and he signed both Drop The Dead Donkey boxsets for me - am looking forward to Jeff signing too :)

Oh to meet Mr. Spielberg again, but alas all the wishing in the World won't ever see him attend - far too big... Mind you IF I was ever proved wrong I'd eat my #IndyMarion Fedora ;)

I think he was referring to:

He's the greatest Mexican film director of all time!

To quote Mork: "Ahhh humour ark ark." :)

  12. Is this going to be another Diamond guest?

sorry if this has been answered.

Judging from Jason's first post, no, it doesn't look like it.

I think this won't be a first time guest.

    My guesses would be:

    Mark Hamill

    Carrie Fisher

    Peter Dinklage

    Norman Reedus

    Really could be anyone though.

I would be happy with any of these, particularly Mr Hamill

Thats what the smart money is on :)
