Tony Heads talk which was great apart from the vvvvvvvvv very o..o...o...o...o..o...odd questions about Buffy and Police Academy being released on 3..3...3...3...d (if you were there youll know what im talking about)
now I think thats a little unfair... At least Tony handled it really well... You shouldnt mock!!

Christopher Eccleston is an exceptionally private person. Much like John Simm. Both of them hate the "fame" side of their profession and seem try and avoid it when they can. The claim that you will never see either at a convention is an honest one.
quite often see Christopher shopping where I work.. he's ok with signing but doesnt really enjoy the attention..

how about Geoffrey Bayldon (Catweazle, Worzel's crowman, also played the Doctor in two audiostories, amonst loads of great films, tv), and any Buffy & Angel guests! And some from Heroes and Supernatural!

Just wondering if there's going to be a name change for the event, as the GMEX has now been renamed "Manchester Central"! It might be more well known as that by the time we get to November!
Looking forward to it whatever the name! Wish I could make it to MK for C11 :-(

I have never heard of channel M. or that guy. im so confused.
Channel M is a TV station based in and for Manchester. Frank Sidebottom is a showbiz entertainer from Timperley who made his name in the mid to late 80s, on radio and TV. Once seen, never forgotten. Trust me.

If anyone wants to watch a great (if short) report on G-Mex 2, make sure you catch the 2nd prog of "Frank Sidebottom's Proper Telly Show" on Channel M, it's being repeated quite a lot all week.
I'm sure most of you would have seen Frank around during Saturday (esp if you were at the Hot Fuzz talk). I collared him to get a photo (he's a childhood hero of mine! lol) and he ended up talking to me for about 15mins about utter nonsense! I was in stitches..

I think its a missed opportunity for the BBC to create a bigger buzz (like they already haven't!
)
But maybe all the fines over phone in comps being rigged put them off charging people for what would basically be a promo...
Still, can't wait til Sat....
