I still don't understand why you can't purchase autograph tickets on-line, the earlier you pay, the earlier the VT you get...... But on the whole it was FANTASTIC
I suppose it would be so that everyone gets a fair chance, I mean some people won't like to pay over the internet or even have it so that might mean they find themselves in an unfair circumstance. A lot of people might not turn up too if they see the VT numbers high and you never know how busy a guest will be for sure until the actual day.
I see what you're saying but you could argue its not fair for those living miles away having to get up so early
It just seems a good way of stopping pushing in too...... -
My suggestion would be to have numbered tickets (like VT tickets) when you have your photo taken. Each photo could be numbered in pencil on the back - digital photo's are numbered anyhow.
The person handing out the photo's could then match your number to the ordered photo's and bobs your uncle. I would be happy if the photo's were numbered on the front as long as its very small in the bottom corner which could be mounted out etc.
How could they be sure which photo was yours? It isn't always as simple as "1 attendee - 1 photo" after all. There are other pitfalls associated with this idea but I'd like to hear your comments.

- Seriously though, you would need a ticket for each photo produced. They would be printed in the same order so it could work. I know there are fraileties with the idea but its a seedling.... -
I saw loads of people pushing in the queues, just walking up and joining their friends that had been standing there for hours. Bit off if you ask me.
Yes, I really dislike this aspect of early morning queuing. It can be very disheartening to see people going in front of you and it being perfectly acceptable even if you might have got there hours before they did.
This really is so annoying, two teenage girls were queuing just in front of me and their friends kept showing up. There were six in the end.
I would have told them but the softer side of me didn't want to ruin their day or intimidate them but its just not on

I MUST add my two penneth. Not that she needs defending but Eve Myles was a FANTASTIC guest. She held out her hand to say hi when it was my turn and I don't recall anyone else doing that. She was genuinly nice and is one of the most accomodating stars I have ever met other than Billie and David.
I overheard her saying thanks for inviting me to Jason and that was a great moment when she shouted at JB for leaving her no space on a 10x8 for her autograph
.If you get chance to meet her in the future - do it!!

I know this won't help, but he is a real gent. I was lucky enough to meet him at the Hilton Blackpool just before he switched the lights on. I didn't realise it at the time but I nabbed Julie Gardner to take the photo's

I've just aquired a George Lucas autograph from a contact who used to work at the Empire (thats the cinema not for THE EMPIRE
) in London - it was obtained during the Great Ormond Street charity showing of Willow, and is on the programme handed out on the evening - it is also signed by Warwick Davis.The question is although I am confident it is the real deal, is there anyone who could verify it. I can provide a JPG by mail if any help.

Can anyone explain why no answers are being given on the multi-guest photo shoot questions?
With the current guest list there seems several opportunities for great shoots McGann/McCoy, Charles/Barrie, Myles/Gorman to name but a few. I for one am holding back until I know whether or not this is possible as in past events...seems a bit poor with only 20 days to go that this remains unanswered.
Thanks for any help/advice provided. NWK
