  2. I voted for Enterprise. However, I usually say my favourite is the series I watched the most recently between Enterprise and Voyager. So on that form when I finish watching Voyager (I'm on season 4 at the minute) it will move to the top of the list ;) This is how it stands at the minute.

Enterprise - Great stories from the start + Jolene Blalock

Voyager - Nice concept and well executed + Jeri Ryan

DS9 - First 3 seasons a little slow but what a great enemy the Dominion are!

TNG - Some really great episodes but I miss an overall story arc :o

TOS - Really need to rewatch this series

  3. I sorely tempted to dress up, but it crosses a line I always said I wouldn't (it does look fun though ;) ). I have a few thoughts, but the winning one so far is the TOS style green wrap around uniform, worn most recently by Capt. Archer in 'In a Mirror, Darkly'.

  4. Here are my pictures from the weekend, and just so you know, Batman was getting well out of line :YAHOO:

As other people have said, I've tried to edit out the exessive amount of yellow that seems to be in all the photos :o

  5. I could only afford to meet the two captains today unfortunately but both Patrick Stewart and Kate Mulgrew were great. I was extremely pleased when Patrick approved of my choice of University (being the University of York) after he spotted my very conspicuous hoody and Kate had a great sense of humour :(

It was great to see the MacMillan Cancer Research guys, with the very welcome addition of two stunning Orion slave girls.

I also really liked the new arrival of the American food stall (even if it was a touch on the pricey side), good root beer is hard to come by in the UK.

Pictures to follow in the relevant thread :)

  6. Well I finally got back home in Nottingham at 9.30pm, 16 hours after leaving this morning  But it was thoroughly worth it. I managed to stretch my meagre student budget to meet George, Chase and Rene. All three were fantastic, really talkative and friendly :D

I also took part in my first Collectormania auction and it was really intense! After a few failed bids I managed to bag myself a Scott Bakula autograph for a mere £15!!

The vast number of people in costumes were at their usual high standards with a particular mention to the Klingons raising money for cancer research, those guys were awesome!

A big thumbs up for the venue, bar the annoying tube maintenance it is very accessible and the way the signings were spread out made it really easy to move around.

tl;dr - Great event, great guests, see you in Milton Keynes
