    I have to say that I think this is actually one of the best Collectormanias so far...

    There is a list of people I want to meet this time.

    I don't know where i will get the money from. Haha! :(

    I am gong to be soooooooooo broke.

    i will probably be talking to him about being Harvey Dent in (the legend that is) Tim Burton's Batman!

    Good luck with that. At C6 he was pretty tight-lipped.

     

    Perhaps he would do a talk instead?

     

    Really? Gutted!

    I was really looking forward to meeting him, but now i'm not so sure.

    It sounds like he is a bit like Carl Weathers... when i met him he was really quiet and didn't want to talk about anything.

     

    Aaaahhh well... at least it's another autograph on the poster. :YAHOO:

    Saturday col 15..the verdict!

    I thought it was good... but there was something missing.

    I don't know what it is.. but it just didn't feel the same since leaving the shopping centre.

    It was so cold too... the guests were sitting there with blankets... and i don't blame them.

     

    I met 3 people today...

    Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards was the first... what a legend. He was so happy to be there meeting everyone.

    He had the biggest smile i have ever seen. :D What a gent!

     

    Then i met Kerri Green... she was lovely. I froze for some reason and didn't start a conversation with her... i don't know what happened. I just couldn't say anything... but she was kind enough to pose for a photo with me and my daughter.

    I walked away from Kerri thinking i have just spoiled that experience because i didn't say anything. Normally i start talking to the guests about something... Gutted!

     

    So on I went to meet James Tolkan... as i was walking towards him he waved at me... i was just thinking to myself that i would talk to him and not freeze up again... I have met LOADS of famous people and have never frozen before...

    Anywho... i looked at the photos of James' that were there and he shook my hand.

    I looked at him and said "Aaaahhh... There are no Masters of the Universe pictures here" he laughed and looked at the person sitting next to him and he said "See, They are asking about Master of the Universe, we should have got some pictures".

    Anyway, we chatted about how that was the first sci-fi film i had ever seen when i was a kid.

    And when he posed for a photo with me he apologised for not having a Masters of the Universe picture for me... bless him... he was a really nice man... i am glad i met him now. :(

     

    All in all, I had a good day... the only bad things I can say about the day are... it was WAY to cold in the arena... and also the stall rooms were way too cramped... i didn't have chance to look at the stalls properly because everything was too cramped in.

     

    I can't wait until November for Collectormania London... BILLY DEE WILLIAMS is going! :D

    Oh my GOD!!!! it's Lando Calrissian and Harvey Dent! Haha!

    OK... i have 1 more question. B)

     

    It says on the standard ticket:

     

    1 free photo of each guest attending the show (up to a maximum of 7 guests)

     

    Does this mean we can have a photo taken with the guest over the table (i.e. Collectormania style) or is this just like we are given a photo of the guests.

     

    Sorry for asking stupid questions but i just want to make sure i know what i am getting.

    I have only ever been to 1 event like this before and that was the first Eclipse... and to be honest i was walking around like a lost sheep not know what was gong on. :rolleyes:

     

    Ooooooooo.... one more thing... I can only make it on one of the days... what are the chances of me meeting everyone in 1 day? I don't want to miss anyone.

    I look at it like this... Star Wars is probably the biggest set of films ever made and any guest from the movies is a great guest...

    TPM is the worst film of the set, but i still didn't hate it... i have sat through it plenty of times.

    I mean, if i can sit through the holiday special 4 or 5 times i'm sure TPM is not a problem for me. :WINCE:

     

    Bring on more Star Wars guests!!! :blush:

    Few questions -

    1) did anyone notice Dave Prowse having any Hammer Frankenstein images on his table?

    2) were there any guests not on the program who showed up with their own tables ?

    3) as im going to this event tommorow with my mum instead of the missus this time hows the bar?...not that shes an alky or anything its just that even though shes not past it i cant see her wanting to walk round the stalls all day whilst i have a good root(?) about

     

    1) Nope... As far as i could see he had Star Wars pictures only.

     

    2) Not that i noticed... everyone that was listed was there.

     

    3) Pass... i know it is very VERY expensive.

     

    Sorry i can't be more help. :P
