I have just called the hotel to find out if we could book and was told that there were no more available in the block of rooms reserved for the con.
There are four of us and, while the website makes it look like you can actually have four people per room, they only have single rooms available for Saturday and Sunday for the con rate - none for Friday (we would have to pay full price) and none for more than one person.
Does anyone have any more information on this, because frankly, it's ridiculous. If I were showmasters, I would consider moving the con if this carries on. (and yes, I know that's exactly feasible, but still...)
