  1. So its time to get thinking!! What Party themes would you like to see at Happily Ever After? Our first thought was that we should have a Fairytale ball! Fairytale characters from across the land would be welcome to descend on the Happily Ever After Ball; Grimms and Blutbad meet Snow White and her dwarves, even Rumplestiltskin would be welcome. Just don't make any deals with him for a new dress!
  2. Hi everyone, We are delighted to announce that David Giuntoli will be joining us for Happily Ever After! David plays series lead Detective Nick Burkhardt in Grimm. He is really looking forward to coming to England and seeing everyone. He has never done a convention before and is very very excited about being able to interact with us all and have what is sure to be an amazing weekend! Mark
  3. Hi everyone, We are DELIGHTED to announce that we will be running a convention for fans of the tv series' Grimm and Once Upon a Time! Happily Ever After will feature guests from both shows taking part in all the usual fun we like to provide at a Massive Events convention. It has to be said too, the ideas for party themes are just overflowing! Lol! Both shows are only in their first series but by the time of the event they will have finished a second run, with Grimm already confirmed for a second season and the renewal of Once Upon A Time just a formality after amazing US ratings! The event will be taking place at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on 10th to 12th May 2013 giving everyone plenty of time to plan. It is also set in the hiatus of both shows enabling the guests to be available to come and have some fun with us! The website is already online here: and tickets will be on sale in the online shop from Monday! We hope many of you will love these shows as much as we do. Literally everyone in the office is a big fan of both and we are hugely excited about the event! Is it May 2013 yet? Take care, Mark
  4. Hi there, Yes, sorry, but this is an admin error that I know other people have experienced and probably is the same with everyone! Please accept our apologies and be assured that we know you are coming to The Hub 8 so do not worry. Thanks for understanding and we look forward to seeing you on Friday! Mark
  5. Not that I am aware of. It was edited. I changed it to what it reads now as I realised that I had not originally worded it very well and as it is now reflects what I actually meant! Mark
  6. Hi everyone, We are very sorry to announce that we are having to cancel The Games! Unfortunately interest in the show has been very low and coupled with the fact that many of the guests do not seem available to attend such events we have very little option but to cancel. We had very much hoped that the event would go ahead and felt that we needed to give it every chance by waiting until the release of the film, but ticket sales have hardly increased since then, which is surprising bearing in mind how popular the film has been! All tickets that have been bought will be refunded onto the card they were purchased with. Please give us a couple of weeks to get this all done, but if you have not had the refund by then please do contact us by e-mail at info@collectormania.com. If you have booked a room at The Hilton then if you call them to cancel they are aware of the situation and will happily take care of that for you! On a happy note, both Leven and Dayo will now be appearing at Collectormania MK the week before The Games was scheduled to take place. They will be signing autographs and taking part in professional photo shoots and these will be available on the day and photo shoots will also be online in the next day or so. In addition Jacqueline Emerson, Foxface, will also be at Collectormania! We are sorry that we have had to cancel The Games and we thank those of you who supported us and the event by purchasing tickets. We hope that we might see you at Collectormania instead. Thank you and take care, Mark
  7. Hi everyone, We are pleased to announce that Tim Witherspoon will be joining us at The Mike Tyson Experience! Tim will also be taking part in professional photo sessions and signing autographs for the fans. His photo sessions will be £15 each as will his autographs on any items. (Although he will not be signing belts)! Witherspoon was twice World Heavyweight Champion, in 1984 and 1986. He defended his title against Frank Bruno in London and won an bruising fight, stopping Bruno in the 11th round. Photo session and autographs are for sale now in the online shop, and they will also be for sale on the day of the event.
  8. Hi everyone, We are pleased to announce that John Rhys-Davies will be joining us at Return to Middle Earth! John played Gimli the dwarf in all three LOTR films! He also gave a thunderous performance as Treebeard! We look forward to seeing John at the event and having him impress his own unique sense of humour upon us all! Mark
  9. Hi everyone, We are DELIGHTED to announce that Billy Boyd will be joining us for Return to Middle Earth! Billy played Pippin Took in all three Lord of the Rings films! We are very excited to have Billy back to one of our events as he is an old friend of ours having appeared at several of our signing events back when LOTR was at it's absolute height! Any of you who have met Billy before will know what a great guy he is and funny with it! He is sure to fit right in with one of our full weekend events where he can join us partying the nights away Middle Earth style! Mark
  10. Hi everyone, First, please accept our apologies for not having updated the status of this event sooner! We have been trying very hard to work out a way to ensure the event goes ahead as we are HUGE Lord of the Rings fans ourselves and have a real personal investment in this show! It is has become very apparent that in order for this event to be successful and to do it the justice we want to it needs to partially use the hype that will be generated from The Hobbit later in the year and to that end we have decided to move the convention to a time much nearer to The Hobbits release date. Therefore, Return to Middle Earth will now take place on 23rd to 25th November 2012! It will be at The Park Inn Northampton and they are ready to take bookings for the new date as of now! Return to Middle Earth will also now be exclusively LOTR / Hobbit based and we will be looking at bringing Game of Thrones guests into some of our other events instead. I know that we have refunded most people who had tickets to the original date but anyone else who still has a ticket booked as of todays date, and wishes to have it refunded please let us know and we will be happy to do that. Otherwise your ticket will now just move across to the new date. To go with the new date we have a fantastic new guest too! Please check out their announcement thread in the forum but we think you will be VERY happy! We know we are as it is an old friend who we are very much looking forward to spending the weekend with again! The website will be back up online within a few days and next week we will have lots of news about some of the exciting things that will be going on over the weekend of the show, including some Live Action Role Play! We are also working on various other guests and hope to have more news on them soon! Once again, thank you for your patience over this event. We do really appreciate it. Please be assured this is the last time the event will be moved or changed and it is now full steam ahead for what is personally my most anticipated event we have ever run! Take care, Mark
  11. Hi everyone, Just to let you know that the Mike Tyson Experience is moving venue to Northampton Town Football Club! The date remains the same of Saturday 21st April between 1pm and 3pm. Interest in the event has been phenomenal and the new venue will give us more space to ensure everyone has a more enjoyable experience and there is also loads of FREE parking! The full address for the venue is : Northampton Town Football Club, Sixfields Stadium, Northampton, NN5 5QA There are also loads of places to eat on site, including a KFC, McDonalds, TGI Fridays etc etc. We look forward to seeing you there for what will be an awesome afternoon. Take care, Mark
  12. I strongly suspect that you will need to have purchaed a ticket. Otherwise the venue will be swamped with people hoping to 'just see' Mike Tyson. From the OP From this I would say if you want to enter the area where Mike will be you will need to buy either an autograph or photoshoots. What the Tall one said! The area where Mike will be will only be accessible by those who have either bought an autograph or photo ticket in advance or on the day. Otherwise we would have hundreds of people just turning up to have a look. As I'm sure you can appreciate, Mike is a very high profile person and attracts a lot of attention where-ever he goes. We have to have a way of controlling the environment around him so cannot open it up just for anyone who wants to to come and say they have seen him! The afternoon will just be photo sessions and autograph signing with no Q&A. The photo session will be done at the start of the event so that we can get the pictures back within an hour so those who want to can also get them signed. Thanks for all the questions. If you have any more please let me know and I will answer as best I can. Mark
  13. Hi Kris, Thanks for the questions! Mike will be the only guest at the event and there will be a merchandise stall with his gloves etc and some photos on but that is basically it in that regards. As far as I'm are aware Mike only has the official Gloves and Trunks with him at the events he does so I'm not sure where else you would get them from. As he will ONLY sign his official merchandised gloves and trunks I would advise buying at the show so as not to be disappointed by having something that he won't sign. I didn't think the price on them was that bad personally! Hope that we may see you there and let me know if you or anyone else has any other questions. Take care, Mark
  14. Just spoke to the hotel and there should be rooms available again now on Fri, Sat and Sun on hotel code! Mark
  15. Just spoke to the Hilton and this should all be sorted now with rooms available again on Fri, Sat and Sun Mark

  17. Hi everyone, Sorry about the issues with booking the hotel! :-( I have spoken to them this morning and all room types on all days should now be available to book again! However, room bookings are very high for the event so please do get in there and book as soon as you can as I know there is going to come a point where the rooms are simply sold out! Obviously being the last ET demand is high! I'll keep an eye on this thread so if anyone has any more problems please post on here and I'll try and get them sorted as soon as I can. Take care, Mark

  20. Hi everyone, We are delighted to announce that J August Richards will be joining us at Hallowhedon! J played vampire hunter Charles Gunn in 91 episodes of Angel, with only Alexis Denisof and David Boreanaz appearing in more! J has never appeared at any of our events and we are so pleased to finally be able to bring him over to The UK. He is really looking forward to seeing everyone and spending Halloween with us! Mark
  21. Hi there, I'm sorry that you found yourself standing for the last panel. No one should have to do that, whether with a crutch or not! I know it is not much consolation now as it has already happened, but if you ever find yourself in a similar position, or indeed if anyone else does, then please just speak to a member of crew who will sort the situation out. Numbering seats is not really a practical option as they are set and re-set so many times over the weekend, often at very short notice. People should just respect the system that is in place and abide by the idea that once you have your seat in the first talk you then have it for the weekend. We will be looking at ways to load the hall, particularly at The Radisson, in a better way and I am sure this will alleviate most of the problems that people have had at the last event. However, as always, should you still encounter an issue PLEASE tell us at the event. We are there to help but can often only do so if we are told at the time. Thanks for everyones input and we will ensure it all works better at 7.9! Mark
  22. Hi everyone, You may have noticed on the schedule that we have a group photo session listed on Saturday just before lunch! Generally we are not able to do these for all sorts of reasons but we are delighted that for Chevron 7.8 we have been able to work it out with everyone! So, the group photo will include Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Tom McBeath, Garry Chalk, Peter Kelamis and you! It is not included in any programme admission and is done as an extra for anyone who wishes to take part. It will be on sale at the registration desk from 2pm on Friday at a reduced price of only £35! We hope that you like this addition to the schedule and agree that it is an awesome way to remember the weekend by! Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Take care, Mark
