Hi folks,
This was my first LFACC at Earls Court (2!), I had a really great time.
I missed out on getting pics with the lovely guests, I normally have someone tagging along with me who enjoys being the "packhorse" for the day, he's a rather spiffing photographer too! I managed to have a good chat with a lot of the guests though, it was nice and calm for most of the morning, I didn't have to queue for anyone!
I did manage to get pics of some of the great Cosplayers though and they really made it for me this year. I really enjoyed having a natter and getting to know the people behind the mask(s), leather, moustaches(!) and even lace! They were all a great bunch, I'd love to do some cosplay myself but unless there is a requirement for a Shrek lookalike I don't think I'll be doing much until I hit the gym!
Here are a few snaps from the many that I took throughout today (Sunday)
First and foremost, I want to apologise to these chaps below:
I kinda jumped out at them on my way out of the building, I think they were just chilling and a few guys had gathered to get a few shots. Luckily I managed to tag along with that group but I think they just wanted to take it easy after the mornings exploits! Thanks for the pic guys!
Second up, these lovely cosplayers who did a really great job of getting into the spirit of the day, I can't remember Mario (or Luigi) looking so feminine but maybe it's just my pixellated eyes from the 8-bit days!
Finally I think this last cosplayer really deserves a medal, I'd love to know your name (apart from Felicia Hardy / Black Cat of course ). This poor gal got swamped by blokes (me ashamedly included!). I hope that she managed to get into the cosplay contest, I had to leave just after 12 so I missed the afternoon's events, perfect 10 from me though
It really was a great day out, I can't wait to get stuck into the rest of the "season" (if you will) and I'm putting my name down for helping out next time, I think me and Too Tall would make a good double team!
All the best folks, Hi if I bumped into you, sorry if I missed you!
Cheers,
Harv
