  2. Further to yesterdays questions about what Tanya will and will not sign.

She will sign Playboy photos but she does not like to sign anything that is tacky or grainy that has been pulled off the internet. We have been given permission to print some of her nicer glamour shots.

  3. Hello everyone

If any of you are at Glasgow tomorrow and pick up our new flyer you will notice a new name on there.

Unfortunately at the time of printing we had the guest but by the time we had printed them we had already lost them.

This was completely beyond our control and unfortunate that this guest could not make the show.

So i won,t spoil it for you but when you see a new name on the flyer please don,t get too excited.

  4. Jason/Dave, do we know if she has reservations about items she'll sign?

I've got a Sheena and a few VTAK bits, but she also did a few other bits of promo work..

I will ask Tanya about the signing rules and regulations and get back to you on that one.

A s usual signing certain items is always at the guests discretion.

Dave I'd suggest sleeping with one eye open, just in case Dufrense gets carried away and decides to follow through with his promise before the show!

    Hi Paul

My eyes were open all last night waiting for confirmation. They will most definately be closed tonight.

Perhaps you can keep an eye out for me ?

  5. At last we finally manage to persuade this lovely lady to make a return to Autographica.

Tanya Roberts will be joining us all weekend, She will also attend the dinner and do a photoshoot and lecture.

Tanya has a long list of leading roles and amongst the most memorable are as Stacey Sutton the main lead in the 1985 Bond Movie View to a kill.

Tanya also played the lead in two memorable fantasy movies Sheena and Beastmaster.

And to top it all was one of Charlies angels for 16 episodes in the hit series of the same name.

It is rare that we have here a leading lady who has starred not only as a main Bond girl but also played the lead in movies and a Hit T.V series.

Don,t miss this great opportunity to meet her.

agreed - richard roundtree is quite a cool one....but come on...edward hardwick, keith barron and nick brimble??......not exactly something to get excited about i would suggest.think i will be giving this one a miss.

note to organisers though....must do better when compiling the guest list.

I have a strong feeling that you may well be eating those words after this weekends guest announcements.

  7. We are pleased to announce a guest we have been trying to get for ages and ages.

Sylvia Syms will be joining us at Autographica.

Sylvia starred in one of the all time classic war movies. Ice cold in Alex.

She has also appeared in a great number of movies including Operation Crossbow and more recently The Queen.

She has also appeared in too many T.V series and programmes to list including Dr Who.

We are very pleased to have finally lured her to the show.

  8. Also just a heads up, Bruce Melnick is listed as Sylvia Anderson

    JA

I think Bruce would prefer you to respect his lifestyle choice and just accept that is what he wants to be known as from now on.

    Careful Count !

You don,t want to be known as the Forum Puppet !!!!!!!

  9. Hello everyone

Just to let you all know, i spoke with Ed a few days ago. He is very much onboard and will do a lecture and photoshoot. Be warned though this years lecture area is much smaller than Birmingham and we will only be able to offer limited seating. So as soon as you see these lectures advertised grab em. All lectures will now be available on the website direct from us.

  10. Further to all this theme.

We have just returned from the Thistle and can report that the hotel is as we speak undergoing a refurb.

Some of it is already done and all rooms now have brand new plasma t.vs. The Exhibition space has been refurbed and the halls and rooms are underway.

The hotel is ideally served from all terminals by Hoppa Bus and there is ample parking at the special rate of £4 per day.( That's really good for Heathrow). They are also going to lay on food during the day and a special two course dinner at £15 a head.

The hotel has a great atmosphere and the venue for the drinks reception is second to none.

More details on the refurb when we go back again.

  11. Hello everyone

We still have loads of time until the show and you know we are working hard behind the scenes to bring you those new people.

In fact we have been at the hotel today checking everything out so time is definately not being wasted.

We have not long announced Richard Roundtree so everybody hang in there. When we are ready to announce guests you will all be the first to know.

  12. We are pleased to announce a u.k first signing of Richard Roundtree.

Richard became a household name in the early 1970s as John Shaft.

A series of movies which also became a t.v series and much later produced a remake in which he starred again.

Richard went on to make other classic movies such as Earthquake.

Richard will continue our tradition of bringing you first time signers from around the world.

  13. It is with Great sadness that i learned this morning of the passing of Our friend Rex Hall.

Rex was a great supporter of the show and was instrumental in helping to bring over many of our cosmonaut guests. Without Rex Autographica would never have been graced with the prescence of such legends as Valentina Tereshkova and Alexei Leonov.

Rex was last with us just a few short weeks ago at Autographica in Birmingham.

He passed away after a long battle with Cancer.

Our deepest respects and thoughts go to his family at this time.

God bless you Rex you will be sadly missed.
