I'm not just saying it because of how much I love Lost but I really don't believe that drop in quality is the reason for it's drop in viewers, if you had said it 2-3 Seasons ago I would have agreed that was the reason, as during this time period it lost over half it's viewers in this US. It has arguably just come out of it's best Season yet. The main reasons for it's audience loss in the US is, as you said, people understandably getting impatient for certain answers and it was up against the ratings juggernaut that is American Idol last year. Also, whilst it's been on Sky 1 the ratings in the UK haven't dropped that much at all. Obviously Lost doesn't have the convention draw that Buffy does and Heroes once did.

All this counting down for nothing We started at 249 and got all the way to 46...

I would love some Lost guests! Especially Michael Emerson and Henry Ian Cusick seeing as how they have both cancelled before.

*Post contains a spoiler!* I've just finished Season 1 after I bought the Blu Ray and I loved it. I did find the first few episodes quite slow paced and a bit boring but I am so glad I stuck with it. Downloading the first episode of Season 2 now. There are a few things I didn't like too much though and the main one was Sookie. I just don't like her character, I think she's incredibly selfish and annoying. I loved Amy though and was gutted when they killed her off.

This thread has taken quite a weird turn... I live just outside Reading! Should I be taking precautions?

Hallowhedon seems to be doing alright for itself, although Joss fans do seem to follow his other shows more so it might be easier to appeal to everyone.

At the moment there is only one guest I want to meet and that is Mark Ryan. I'm not 100% I'm attending yet but if there's a couple more guests I want to meet (at least one Lost guest I'll be there for sure ) then I definitely will.

No one's saying that this has been a success. We just want news one way or the other. Also, although I'm sure 90 isn't at least far of the number of tickets sold, has anyone official actual given us any information on ticket numbers?

I definitely agree with Lizzy. Yes we all really, really want answers and the lack of reply from SM makes us want to look for other ways to get answers, however I don't think this is the way and will only do more bad than good.

Yeah I agree, Jetfire was brilliant and if I do end up going to LFACC I will definitely meet Mark.

On the bright side we won't have to wait too long as the convention is only 48 days away, meaning we know we'll eventually get information at some point within the next 48 days. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything and there just hoping if they ignore us we'll go away, leaving us all to turn up at Northampton in a month to find an empty hotel.

I agree, anyone from Lost would be awesome (although I do draw the line at the "Third woman at back with bandanna" types LOL). Neil Hopkins is a guest I would LOVE to meet. Marsha Thomason is another guest on my dream list, she was announced for one of the other events but had to cancel, it would be great is SM could get her...

Exactly. I think it's fair to say that the reason for all of this can't be due to difficultly getting guests. When you take into the main stars AND important guest stars from all of Alias, Fringe and Lost the list of potential guests must be pushing 40-50.

Sorry but if i had paid out nearly £200 i would be taking the p*** by now.... This seems to be happening to often....i have paid to go to Housebroken, so i hope that does not go the same way. I don't think you have anything to worry about with Housebroken, it isn't until 2010 yet they already have three guests, the most recent announced today, yet still we have no news... And sorry Bregi, Mike was just joking...

I agree with DavidB, people taking the pee will get us no where, if anything it will hinder even more (if possible) as when they do reply there likely to concentrate on defending themselves aginst the silly posts rather than giving us the reply we all want.

LOL I know they know we know they know I know they know we exist, I was just joking. I'd imagine they'll probably plan there reply/announcement for awhile before posting also.

On the bright side, at least they know we exist now. I was wondering for awhile...
