Literally just watched Happy Texas a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it and loved him in Con Air and Club Dread. Great, unexpected guest! Thanks SM!
-
Josh Brolin is by far the most talented of the cast. Loved him in Planet Terror (2007).
Agreed! If SM got HIM to C14...well, I would be very impressed.
-
What a great guest! Wouldn't have expected that in a million years.
-
I could have sworn I heard Nicky acknowledge a fourth movie just then ....
Nicky's a bit more forgiving than I am - I don't even acknowledge the third movie. As far as I'm concerned, after the events in Aliens, Ripley & Hicks made it back to Earth, settled down, adopted Newt, and lived happy lives far away from the horror of LV-426.
Well said!
And I think an Alien Quadrilogy con would be a brilliant idea, although I would definitely lean more towards the Aliens guests.
-
I'm so excited! Met her at LFCC2 but will probably meet her again to talk about Near Dark. I'm more excited about the prospect about another possible Aliens reunion maybe? Keep 'em coming, SM!
-
Good guest SM. I met him at LFCC and he was really nice, glad he wanted to come back.
-
YAY!!! Adam Baldwin photo shoot!
-
I would love love love to meet Jeff Anderson, especially with him being in Zack and Miri now too. But pretty much any of the View Askew alumni would be awesome.

Debbie will be happy
I AM.... I AM
Debbie will be very happy and so are we!!
Deano is one of the nicest guests ever. It will be great to see him again. They will have started filming the next season of A to A in September so let's hope his filming schedule doesn't get in the way.
Plus he's a Yorkshireman - what more can I say...!!!
It's a big YAY from us
I've heard from Deano.. he's popping into C14 on Sunday on his way back to London ..
He is indeed a top bloke .. any of you Life on Mars/ Ashes to Ashes fans who havn't met him yet should come see him at C14.. you'll have a lovely meeting with him
Hey, that's my b-day! Good choice of day there He's definitely one of the friendliest guests I've ever had the pleasure of meeting so I'm glad people are getting another chance.
-
Oh, yay! My favourite guest ever, would be great to meet him again. Marshall Lancaster would be awesome as I missed him last time too.
-
I'm gonna be there either way so long as Adam Baldwin is going. But I agree, I would love to see some more guests announced soon, it's a bit worrying. It's my birthday that weekend and I'm really looking forward to making it the best Collectormania I've been to! Some more guests would REALLY help that along.
-
Yes please!!!
Anyone here the news from comic con yet? Apparently there will be at least one more part to Dr.Horrible!!
I was hoping someone would hear something, I'll be interested to see how that goes. My friend went and nearly walked straight into NPH and Joss on their way to the panel, sadly she's NOT a fan.
-
James Marsden and Ben Foster for me. Hugh Jackman's a given
-
I'm sure I'm not the only one who watched this considering the amount of Whedon fans on here so why not bring some of these guys over? I really enjoyed it and think it would make a great talk too if SM could get a few of them over. Namely:
Nathan Fillion (been before and would obviously be popular for Firefly/Serenity fans)
Neil Patrick Harris (also of How I Met Your Mother fame)
Felicia Day (Vi from Season 7 of Buffy)
Joss Whedon (umm...yeah)
Zack and Jed Whedon (co-writers of Dr Horrible)
Anyone agree?
-
Funnily enough, this was the first thing I ever saw John Barrowman in! I thought it was absolutely hilarious, I even own it on DVD. The effects are brilliantly bad and the dialogue is laughable. I would recommend it

Drop by, say hi but tell me where you're from

Tony is adorable :) And appears to have some kind of clause in his contracts that involves him going shirtless whenever possible.
Not that I'm complaining, but maybe SM could get that into the agreement if they get him!! LOL!
Lol, now that would be something...
I've been hoping for them to be able to get Michael back for a while now so I can mention it to him. I'd meet any of them, it's such a great show.
-
Hell yes! Especially Anthony Starke, Ezra has to be my favourite AND he was in Return of the Killer Tomatoes for goodness sake!
-
Gets my vote, especially Ted Levine and Jason Gray-Stanford.
-
Definitely one of my top guests. I love how involved he got with everyone and how he was more than happy to chat for ages. I also love the fact he just wandered around having his picture taken with cosplayers, I think that's excellent, what a thrill!
I would have LOVED a talk! Maybe next time
-
It would be brilliant but I would hate for him to have a hard time with it. I doubt it would be the easiest of weekends, especially considering how popular he'd be. I think it would just be WAY too much, I'd be too worried for him.

I think John Landis has to be the top guest for me too! He was brilliant and I finally got to tell him how he has scarred me for life thanks to Thriller. He then went on to call my mum a bitch and evil (to her face!) that she showed it to me when I was 4! We were both in hysterics, he even called security on her. It's nice to know the man himself is on my side.
I'm glad he had such a great time, I've been hoping to meet him for years but never thought I'd get the chance. I hope he comes back again sometime in the future.
I was right behind you in the queue and he said to me that he'd had people all day saying that they'd been traumatised by Thriller. So I told him that I'd watched Trading Places and it had changed me in a different way, he asked how and I just said "Jamie Lee Curtis". He shook my hand and said "You're Welcome!"
HA! I'm glad he knows what Thriller has done to people then and I sympathise with those other fans.

I interviewed him for a US horror magazine about Thriller last night... some of the stories, wowser!
Make sure you get the next issue of HorrorHound
I didn't know you could get it sent to this country! I will do then, thanks for the heads up
