  1. I'm disappointed I didn't meet him, now. I had a ticket at just below 300 and had seen the signs go from "no posed photos" to "no photos" and "personalisations only, no quotes" to "no personalisations" and assumed it had gone to the familiar conveyor belt signing system that popular guests sometimes get into so I didn't think it was worth the £35 if I wasn't going to get anything more than a signature and maybe a brief acknowledgement. Had these people been viewable and not secreted away behind barriers, then I may have been able to see that he was in fact chatting with people and I would have happily gone up, regardless of personalisations. Shame.

  2. If this is a first time signer to the UK , then is it Wil Wheaton ??

Some could prob work out why I'm suggesting him.....

The only other person I can think of is Alex Winter, as again he'd be a first time signer in the UK.

Of course, the other half of the Wyld Stallions would be a very nice indeed announcement !!!

I thought Wil Wheaton too, although I don't know that many people would class him as an 'amazing' guest. I would most certainly love to meet him though!

  3. I thought he was absolutely lovely, so genuine and friendly. He shook my hand when I went up for the auto and for the photo shoot and I asked him about what was happening with Yellow Submarine.

I thought the talk was great, he was happy to talk about anything. I liked hearing that he had such good fun on The Princess Bride and his Andre stories. I was also in hysterics over the insane account of his experience with Randy Quaid on Days of Thunder!

Someone asked if he'd been on the Saw ride in Thorpe Park and he said he'd been but because it was raining it was actually closed on the day! He spoke some about how he came to be in Saw and then coming back for Saw 3D.

My memory really sucks, I know there were plenty of other questions but I'm having a mental block on them!

But he seemed very chuffed to have people there to see him and was a great guest.

  4. Excellent news - very pleased to hear this.

If it's possible to get Marshall as well that would even better, especially seeing as he's from my hometown :)

we are working on it i am expecting a phone call soon from he we shall see

    jason

Oh, wow! I have met Dean, Keeley and Philip but not Marshall so if you get him I think I would be a definite for attending this con!!

And, as much as I absolutely hate his character in the show, I would love to meet Daniel Mays too. I think he did a fantastic job in this last season of A2A.

  5. Hey, haven't really kept up with this thread seeing as it's 90 pages long now but the last post with the "take the Mickey" line made me think it could be a hidden clue and the guest is called Micheal something. Mickey Rourke? I can't think of any other Michaels right now! :headscratch:

    Michael Keaton

    Michael Madsen

    Michael Caine

Well, he actually said "take the Micky" without the 'e' meaning it is blatantly Micky Dolenz of The Monkees!

And I don't know about you but I would quite frankly be ecstatic if it was! :D

  6. Eli Roth please!

I was on a plane with him for 10 hours but didn't realise it was him until I got home and so a Cannes interview with him a couple of days later! I knew I recognised him but couldn't place him. I asked him on MySpace if it was him to double check and he said yes, I should have come over and said hi as we had 10 hours to talk. So the way I figure it, that guy owes me 10 hours of talk time!!

  7. Scott Bakula - "Nice to see you!"

    Jewel Staite - "Stay Shiny!"

    Chris Sarandon - "Prince Humperdink"

Edward Furlong - Just "To Catherine"

Keeley Hawes - "Lots of Love"

And my favourite, Danny Trejo - "Thank You. We are Spy Kids together." I mentioned that sadly Spy Kids was probably one of my favourite films of his which he seemed to find amusing.
