Hi Rob Myself and some friends are coming from your neck of the woods and it takes us about 2 hours tops to get from the bridge area to Wembley. As regards getting the Stargate guests, it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure that you get there early and get your queue number tickets as soon as possible. Then just keep checking as to when your number is approaching being called (they are called in batches like Pink ticket up to 250 etc etc). Then you can mooch around until then. I went to Collectormania and managed all mine pretty easily. I will be queuing for the Stargate guests as well and am going on the Sunday as well. Enjoy yourself. "10"

Latest Guest Announcement - Michael Biehn
The Extreme Nerd!!! replied to showmasters's topic in Previous Showmasters events
Ooooohhh My Goooooooood (ala Jack in Will & Grace) He can now go on my ever increasing Terminator print with Kristanna Lokem, Robert Patrick and Ed Furlong. And, not forgetting the Alien one as well.. Me a happy bunny now as I put some more money aside to spend and now I have something to spend it on... -
For those of us old enough, Mark Metcalf aka The Master in Buffy the Vampire Slayer was also in the classic american college film National Lampoon's ANIMAL HOUSE. He starred as the complete ass known as DOUG NIEDERMEYER. All this means is I now am getting two autographs. One on my Buffy cast shot and the other on an Animal House picture.

It is likely to have been toned down to get in the Buffy fans. The $40 Million it took in it's first 3 days is not bad at all. But factor in the price of tickets in the States and the fact there are 5 or 6 times as many people in that country than here then it isn't as superb as it may initialy seem. Remember that each of the Rings trilogy took $1 Billion plus worldwide.

Pure class....2 down and 1 to go -
Unless it says that he is only signing on the Sunday then he should be there both days. The sign on the main page says "Signing both days unless otherwise stated". I am looking forward to meeting Mr Thursday Night as well.

I hope you enjoy it. I am not a big fan of Mrs Prinze Jr. I find her acting ability to be limited and of what i have seen in the trailers and odd snippets, her performance does not look too good in The Grudge. As regards a good opening weekend in the States, anything with SMG in the lead following Buffy and Angel finishing was always going to do good in the first few weeks as you would get the Buffy/Angel fans out.

Do Any Guests Return To The Event
The Extreme Nerd!!! replied to Timothy Dalton 007's topic in Previous Showmasters events
I have always found that guests who return to future events run by Showmasters or whoever are the ones who are either 1) Very popular due to a film role etc e.g. Billy Boyd 2) Makes a huge effort with the fans and turns into a popular guest If Mr Kotto is either popular through his role sin Alien and James Bond to name but two, or becomes popular by the way he interacts with the fans at the event, then I am sure Showmasters may try and get him back. You never know, they may organise a Bond reunion and he is a Bond villain after all. -

My one comment was all I could muster. Didn't seem worth it. -

It is just the irony that you made the decison to leave yourself open to p*ss taking after the times you have b*tches about guest announcements. As the old saying goes, "If you can't take it then don't deal it out!!!" As soon as I saw your thread I just sat back and waited for the comments. -
Even putting to one side it has SMG in it, it is a remake of a Japanese film. Not a good start. Plus, the trailers look poor.

That is a fab idea we will definately have to do that I think the baby is going to have enough toys and and luggage holds on planes aren't *that* big *g* It was a joke what I put. Knowing that Amanda would be flying back I am not that dense. If it did happen then maybe she would donate them to the Children's hospital.
