  1. *gasp*! I resent that implication, i purely admire the actors for their commendable screen presence and ability to bring complex characters to life in such intense circumstances. It's nothing at all to do with the fact that the majority of them are smokin' hot And whoa you're lucky to have worked with Corin at C5, he was such a sweetheart when me and my friend went to see him, then we had to go back the next day for another picture because Liz's camera broke. Bless him, he was most obliging and very kind.
  2. Lol, i whole-heartedly agree! Ooh, and Reiko Aylesworth too, she's just fantastic. And James Badge Dale, too, damn there's some fine actors in 24
  3. Wheee, another Sarah Clarke fan! You lucky thing getting that promo stand-up too, it'd be great to get that signed by someone, here's hoping you do!
  4. Ooh, Harry Potter guests would be wonderful, especially David Thewlis and Gary Oldman, they were just perfect in their respective roles in the newest film, especially David as Lupin, he's an absolutely marvelous actor. And, LOTR Forever, i would also love to see Alan Rickman, he is fab!
  5. Ah well i hope you enjoy the end of 24, let me know what you think of it when you're done :) D'oh! I had no idea that my avatar wasn't showing up, thanks for letting me know. It was originally on my Angelfire site but they've disabled hotlinking so only i can see it. Boy i must look like a real fool now, got it in my photobucket account now though, so hopefully i'm not the only one who can see it now! It's actually me with Craig Parker (obviously), because i look really dodgy in the one with Corin - Hey! Another reason to get him to come again
  6. Hah, now there's a question! Pretty dumb, it's safe to say, i'm surprised Jack's not even more traumatised. Hey surfy_sah, i do know about the other sections, but this was originally a guest suggestion list and i felt like most other people that it wasn't likely to get noticed in the separate forums. I suppose in this case it was my fault that we've gone a little off topic, but surely i'm not the only one? It's nice to be able to talk to other fans about a show i really enjoy, though i understand this probably isn't the place, sorry Hope you manage to see the end of S3 soon, and enjoy it! I'm really sorry if you've been spoiled at all in this post :\ And i was at C5, as you can probably see in my avatar. Corin was wonderful to meet, and i know i'm not the only one suggesting guests that have been at previous Collectormania events :)
  7. I don't know why i originally got into Enterprise (ok, i'll admit, i'm shallow and there are lots of hot guys...), because i'd never been a massive fan of Star Trek before. Now, however, if i see any of the other series' on, i actually sit down and watch it!
  8. *whistles* That's a lot of DVD's!! Most things i just enjoy watching from time to time if i catch them on TV, then occassionally a program like Stargate or 24 comes along, and i just have to see every single episode! Do you watch Enterprise at all? Hmm, i think i watch too much TV, but if i get really hooked on something i have to see it through 'til the end, and i'm too skint to buy the DVD's if i can't catch it on TV
  9. Wel, you've got more than i have David! I have 24 S1, various LOTR's, and that's about it I'm waiting to make my millions first of all, then i shall buy ALL the DVD's in the world, mwahahahahaha! The good ones, anyway Stargate seriously rocks though, Sky One played Seasons 1-7 every weeknight at 6 o'clock from last October through til May, that's the only reason i've seen them all, i only started watching last year!
  10. Whoa, you lucky thing! I've seen every episode in seasons 1-7 (eagerly awaiting 8 and Atlantis!) and taped most of them off TV anyway, but it would be nice to have the DVD's one day. It'd free up a ton of shelf space too!
  11. Hah! Love Peter DeLuise, he's fabulous in his role in Wormhole X-treme!
  12. Hey, maybe we could feature on the S4 sponsor ads! No acting required, just do what we usually do, lol! My poor family do despair though, i collect all the cushions before the episode starts so i can throw them at whoever talks during an important bit. Can we say 'obsession'?
  13. Alas, i have no DVD's The little money i have is in a box marked 'COLLECTORMANIA' The commentaries sound absolutely brilliant though, maybe when i'm rich...
  14. Oh yeah! Those sponsor ads were just class, my whole family poked me whenever that one with the dad and the remote was on because i'm exactly like that
  15. holymarymotherofgod, Showmasters you're amazing! WOOHOO!!
  16. Hehe, Siler and his wrench! Have you seen the S7 episode Heroes pt.1? His part in that is hilarious! As is Gary Jones' (Sergeant Walter Davis, aka Chevron Guy), come to think of it
  17. Heehee, yeah Chloe had that effect on a lot of people! I did like Adam though, hopefully he'll be back at least for a few episodes. Wow, just rooting around on IMDB, i have the same birthday as Reiko Aylesworth, wicked! And on the subject, how much ass did Michelle kick in S3?! She was so brilliant. Can't believe i hadn't heard anything about this 24 con though, and it sucks that it was cancelled
  18. Mmmm, Shepseskaf i totally agree on the Colin Cunningham front! I know a couple of people that have met him at Stargate convention's in the past, and apparently he can really work a crowd, how ace would it be to have him at the party?! Of course i'm all up for seeing the main characters, and am totally thrilled to bits about the prospect of meeting Amanda, but some of the recurring roles seem just as worthwhile to me. Like with Major Davis, for example, and Siler! Bless Dan Shea, plus he does a load of the stunts, doesn't he?
  19. Hey Tiggerific! Great to find another person who loves the show It does kinda suck now that it's on Sky One, bloody ad breaks too. But still, it's 24, can't really complain!
  20. Still trying to be vague here so as not to spoil any one else who hasn't seen S3, but i stupidly, stupidly found out that HUGE thing that happens at 7am, moments before i sat down to watch the episode! That was really bloody annoying, but my own stupid fault i suppose. Aww, it sucks that that con was cancelled, i live in Manchester! Carlos rocks though, it'd be great to get him, and like you said it's good to know he's up for it at least. Nina will always, always be my favourite character though. Sure, she may be evil incarnate, but boy is she good at it!! Ooh, good point that more of the main cast could also be available for signings now though, i hadn't thought of it in that way. Looks like Chloe'll be in as a recurring role at the moment, she is quite an annoying character but i think she had her quirks
  21. Hmm, been looking around for one article i saw, which mentioned the London thing, though of course i can't find it now! There was quite a bit about who is and isn't going to be in S4, but i don't want to spoil it for you at all, i hate spoilers as well, that's the only article i've read so far!
  22. Yeah, i know what you mean about trying not to spoil it for other people. I did hear that S4 was set in London though, do you know if that's true? It should be interesting to see how it starts though, i mean, following on from such an ambiguous ending as it was!
  23. Lol! After i saw S2 on TV i managed to get the S1 boxset for my birthday, and i think i watched it all once weekend, 12 hours each day. Laziest weekend of my life and boy did i love it! The thing i really loved about S2 was sitting down once a week with everyone (it's the only show my entire family watch) for 45 minutes of straight action - no breaks. It was just so tense, something that i felt was lost in S3 on Sky One, freakin ad-breaks just ruin it completely. That's not to say i didn't enjoy S3 as well, but it was a little slow to get going, i thought the ending was great - though i wouldn't be susprised if S4 is A-Day-In-The-Life-Of-Jack-Bauer-And-His-Therapist, poor bloke's been through a lot!
  24. Woohoo! Amazingly enough i find 24 fans hard to come by, nobody i know watches it, but it's such a fantastic show. Season 2 was the first one i saw, and i don't think anything could ever top that, it was just pure brilliance. Watched the S1 boxset, it was excellent too, but i think it's better watching it without knowing the ending! Glad you enjoyed S3 too, Chase was so brill, ooh, there's another guest that would be fabulous - James Badge Dale Great to meet a fellow fan!
