For some reason the guest list hasn't been updated since the beginning of May and James O'Barr was announced after this last update. So hopefully he is still attending.

As an attendee and a crew member I cannot fault the security team. They are a friendly down to earth bunch of gents and ladies who know their stuff.Just having them there means not only can the guests relax but so can the crew meaning that attendees can get the best experience possible.
It is important to remember that if the security guys and gals go into security mode it might not be because of you so don't take it personally but because of something that you aren't aware of (quite rightly) happening in the background.
To my mind they are the biggest asset to these events as they ensure that the A guests we all want to see are willing to do these events.

I could not support this more! Great way for Showmasters should definitely show their support for one of the most successful KickStarter campaigns to date! Also many of the actors in the show have great cross over credits to their name.

The Guy organising the queues on Photoshoot C on sunday had the patience if a saint. Had everyone line uo in separate queues ready for the next 2 shoots after the current running one, rather than let people just take up the space waiting in an unorganized mess.
Thankyou very much - we try our best to keep everyone happy. The only time I had an unorganised mess for for the afternoon Jason Mamoa shoot and that's because I asked people not to queue so they rebelled and formed one outside the lines! ;-)
Well at least they rebelled in an orderly fashion...it was quite impressive really!

Im upping it.... Now its masseuses in slave leia costumes. It's that or I'm not going.
Seem to be a few complaints about the gold pass room but at least you could find it! Also, at least there was a suggestion of water and sweets even if they weren't always available.
When I had a gold pass at the last event it took me till unchtime on the Sunday to locate it!!! Kept asking at organisers booth but very vague directions each time. When I got there it really wasn't worth it - just a sectioned off area with trestle tables in.
So some progress it seems. I would suggest aircon, free bar/buffet, recliner chairs and masseuses for next year.
Heck if they have masseuses next year I'll get a gold pass!
I like your style! Though I would need a male equivalent...and by that I do not mean a person in a Luke Skywalker costume...maybe someone dressed as Thor...goes to her happy place!

I don't think anyone is quite understanding what I'm saying. We QUEUED and the people walked past the QUEUE bought tickets and WALKED IN! How is this fair on the people who had been QUEUING for at least an hour or so? I'm am NOT saying I'm better than anyone else and really feel that belittling is a good way to deal with some one who has a grievence. Maybe it's best to avoid the forum and email Jason.
I'm so sorry that you were unhappy with the way things happened on Saturday.
Sometimes the ways these things are organised depends on the show itself and its location but please be assured that Showmasters are reading the feedback made by yourself (and others) and are always trying to refine and improve the system.
I hope that you were still able to enjoy the event and got to do and experience everything you wanted.

An Age Restriction applies to the screening.
No-one under the age of 18 is allowed admittance to the screening
This is because the episode (and the series as a whole) has an 18 certificate on it (as per the DVD release).

Hi Clloby, No, The tickets were not available at the time. They are listed as £15 and that Kitty is attending all three days, but they left her of the list. Katy Manning was the same but SM have now listed her. It's such a shame if they don't list her.

Well given the closeness to the event it is unlikely (though not impossible) that she will have a photoshoot. I'd prepare for the worse and just keep an eye to see if the the photoshoot list is updated prior to the event and also at the event itself.

Difficult to say,
It Is one of the quieter photo shoots so shouldn't be too busy. If any shoots are sold out this will be noted at the sales desk so go and check there on the day.

Can we exchange the Michael Shanks ticket for a ticket that is more expensive and pay the difference or if I wanted to do that would I need to get a refund and then buy the more expensive ticket?
I think it will be more likely to be a full refund for the Michael ticket and then you can purchase the different ticket - makes it easier for things to balance at the end of the day.

Hi, I'm a first time poster, but this will be my second Con.
I am only now able to attend due to the cancellation of another engagement, and now I'm organising it for myself and five friends to come!. As a result we are obviously coming with no pre booked anything but intend to get there at 9 on Saturday.
I was wondering if we go straight and get photoshoot tickets when we get there, do you think there's any chance we will get into any of the early shoots for the split shoot guys? (Norman, Peter etc).
Also we may have an eleven year old with us, does anyone know if there will be an age limit for the GOT talk at 7pm? (if we are able to get tickets for it on Saturday morning of course).
Realistically I would say there is very little chance of your making the first one. As you are buying your entry ticket on the day your queue will be moving more slowly than the pre-booked tickets. If you are only arriving at 9 then it is likely you will find yourself at a back of a long queue as people tend to arrive hours prior to queue to get in.
Once you do make it in it is reasonable to assume that the queue for photoshoot tickets are going to be extremely busy on Saturday morning and another potential long queue to negotiate. Your best bet is to go for the later shoots.
I will see if I can get confirmation shortly if there is any age restriction on the GOT screening otherwise it might be a case of asking on the day.

Tricky one - bit like how long is a piece of string question!
As you have a pre-booked ticket then in theory that queue should be moving the fastest. Personally I would .rrive around an hour to 30 minutes before, but like I have said it really is difficult to advise on that one as we have no idea of what time other people will be turning up.

Is it going to be possible to make the Hoff's solo photo shoot on Sunday with a prebooked standard entry ticket? Worst case would I be able to pay the extra for the KITT photo?
It shouldn't be a problem if you are there in advance of the doors opening at 11 and head straight to the photoshoot. Allowances will have been made for people like yourself who have standard entry ticket. You won't be alone if having a David ticket and be entering at 11am.
As for if you should miss the shoot I can't comment on whether refunding and purchasing a new ticket for David and Kitt will be possible (something for the salbes team to decide on the day) but it would mean a potential wait in a long queue to even find out.

As it is a paid event it will be called in ticket number. Most likely in batches - e.g. tickets 1-30 first, 30-60, 60-100 and so on.
You will have chance to recover from the stresses and rushing around done on the day - and maybe even a chance to go for something to eat :)

Sorry if that has been asked and answered already and i missed it, but when it comes to swapping Saturday shoot tickets for Friday or Sunday, can we just proceed to the shoot area with our current tickets or do we have to swap them at the organisation booth first?
No need to swap your tickets just go up with the ticket you have for Saturday :)
There will be enough queuing involved this weekend - don't want you to have to do any more than you have to!

Im sorry if this has already been answered but I cant be bothered to read through all the posts lol. I have a photo shoot ticket for peter/Lena and I cant find the times on the saturday schedule at all,could you please tell me the time the shoot would be many thanks
The dual shoot is on the SUNDAY only from 1.10pm in Area B

I'm sorry, but having two first time DS9 guests in a 5 min slot at the SAME TIME on the Saturday at shoots A and D is completely stupid! That's not just a clash, that's insane :S
Let the crew know you're coming. They'll do their best to help.
The crew will be aware of this clash and I am sure you won't be the only person who this effects. It may be the case that these guests are kept at the shoots a little bit longer (a couple of minutes) than the time frame stated to deal with people who have tickets for both.
Not ideal I know and a bit of a dash - but I hope this helps a little.
I've got a pulled muscle in my leg, so a quick dash is slightly out of the question :S I'm there both days, so I may need to explain to the organisers booth my situation and get one swapped for Sunday, as I have shoots then, but can't see that I'd have any clashes if I did that.
It's the same clash I have, I'm sure we won't be the only ones.. fingers crossed this will get sorted on the day that we either swap days or give people the time to get from one to the next
Am I right in thinking that the guests that clash are Barry Jenner and Salome Jens?
yep.. in my case I have Joe Dempsie too at the same time.

Nightmare, we have Saturday Peter Dinklage talk and the David Hasselhoff photo shoot - they 100% overlap.
You should be as the talk finishes at around 2pm - it is a 45 minute talk. Even though it looks like it will run until 2.15 this is a 15 minute window in which the hall is emptied and loaded ready for the next talk.
That will give you 15 minutes to get to the David shoot
