Man, here I was thinking, "No, I must restrain myself from charging in and joining the zombie conversation," but hey, it would be cool to have an entire party dedicated to a question I asked. XD That question is so infamous, it was discussed between myself, Pez and Emma at Collectormania Glasgow. The plan was that I was going to ask each guest your question at their talk, but the only one I was at after the discussion was the Marina Sirtis one and despite my hand being up, I never got the mic:( Isn't it Maya y Alejandro?

Exactly! My thinking was, what's the point in having a vampire pirate theme if there's no pirate ship nearby!

Allow me to share a small sample of my current boredom with you:

I think my face is closest to Ariel, I'd obviously need a wig. I'd also have to go with her in her 'beach sack and rope' costume, because it hides my lack of breasts rather beautifully.

So one of my friends just walked in on me with this up on a 42" screen, while I was deciding which I looked most like - thanks a lot

Vampire Pirates could work nicely - Zombie Pirates are reserved for CM:G3 though:D

It's a sweet thought, but I suspect you'd get as far as 'David 5 is al...' before being crushed underfoot by the stampeding hordes of 100 foot robot warriors, fighting over Americanadia, Austrapan and The Grand Swiss Empire.

I have a horrible sinking feeling that when we reach the point where we're able to design ourselves robot bodies, it's going to be like a repeat of when the Matrix Online game (look, links between subjects in the thread!) came out, and everyone called themselves 'The 0ne' or 'TeH On3' or 'Ne0' or 'NeeO' or whatever. I imagine there will be millions of identical Optimus Prime robo-humans fighting millions of identical Megatron or Galvatron robo-humans in a sort of headmasters apocalypse scenario. It sounds so much cooler now that I've typed it, I want to live to be a part of those events...

I hope to be in some form of robot body in 79 years.

In a more proactive vein - Eclipse 2 is two weeks after Halloween. A party theme which encourages the re-use of Halloween costumes would probably result in a lot more dressing up. Announcing it at this stage would also not be leaving people with 'little time', as they'll hopefully already have their Halloween costume planned if they were going to have one, and if not - Halloween costumes are dirt cheap in the two weeks directly after Halloween as they get reduced in price to get rid of them, so people can pick something up really easily. Now to think of a Heroes related theme that incorporates a Halloween type theme, mmmm... Edit: I'm happy to be entertainment - let's really, really pray it doesn't come to that though;)

I only get 20 days holiday throughout the year, and zero bank/public holidays due to working for a publishing business that operates around the clock throughout the year - this is going to be my main autumn/winter holiday, and as with others, all I'd like confirmation of is that the event isn't going to be cancelled. I'm not even that worried about guests - it's the ambience and company that I'm looking forward to, the guests are a bonus. Just so long as Eclipse 2 happens in some form, I'll be a happy chappie. I guess I'm also worried because Better than Life was going to be my other main holiday of the year, and was cancelled - once I book holidays off I can't change them, as I book my holidays first, and my staff base theirs around mine so plenty people will be around while I'm away. If Eclipse 2 dies a death, my main two holidays of the year will be gone gone gone.

It's not listed on the website under the 3 day deal thing any more, but I got it for 120 quid today by phoning and complaining that I'd booked it weeks ago and never received my confirmation email. Which err, of course I did... um.

Perhaps if we were proactive and came up with good party themes, they'd be taken on board, and then announced? So... chop chop, get to it, I'm an ideas man, not a worker.
