Simply approach on of our representatives when you see us at an event and tell them that you wish to join. You will be provided with a hat and lightsaber and an Apprentice photo will be taken. Several people joined up at Eclipse. I will work on updating the web site over the Easter weekend. I considered asking at Eclipse, but felt that doing it while dressed as Vader would be slightly oxymoronic it would have been good to see you with the hat on lol i loved your vader outfit Ah well, as Vader has been rehabilitated he will demandask for a hat photo at Eclipse 2. In retrospect, his rehabilitation is probably why Wonder Woman was so comfortable being around him

Aye, I'm agreeing with this one, to pay my way through uni I sold digital cameras for a living, so played with rather a lot, compact and DSLR, and every compact one without exception could have the sounds turned off. Most camera phones will have the sounds turned off if you just stick the phone on silent, any others will have an option to turn the sound off. Some DSLRs cannot have sounds turned off (without ripping the speaker out physically) All that said, I didn't hear a single one beep during any of the talks, I must've been so totally focussed on listening to the guests that I blocked out all extraneous sound
