I was crewing in the talks area on Sunday and I have to say that the only issue was that of the duplicate tickets which at the end of the day was an honest mistake. Nobody had any idea it had happened before hand, and after it had all we could do was make the best out of the situation we found ourselves presented with. Big kudos to our pit boss on the Sunday Christa who was great and worked as quickly as she could with Too Tall and Mara to resolve the issue.
I totally understood the issue and why people were getting so upset but I think the main priority was to get everybody seated and give everybody the talk they had paid for even if it was somewhat on the drag and from different seats for some.
Regarding the prints they were available until the end of the day, a fair few people did take the opportunity to come back when the area had cleared somewhat.

More of the same from me! Thanks to all the amazing Showmasters bunch and the rest of the crew had another amazing time crewing at the weekend! Big shout outs to those in the Sports pit Saturday, Organisers Booth Sunday and Star Wars Pit Monday!

Just got to pop in and say to the two guys (Docs 10 and 11) and unit girls that were around on Saturday, how amazing were those costumes. I really wanted to get a photo but I was crewing so I didn't get a chance. The guy who did Matt Smith was especially awesome!!

Hey All, Got a general question regarding crew hotel sharing. Both myself and a friend whom I met crewing at CM London put one another down to request to share with. We are both crewing the same days and we both wanted to pay extra for the additional night on the Friday at the crew hotel. When I got my email today it says that I am sharing with somebody else other than her. Any thoughts on why this is the case? Is this something I could reply to the email with or are changes not able to be made once the emails are sent?
Thanks for any advice on this, I know its just a request and all so will wait to hear. Cheers!

BamBam put on a friends 'NO YOUTUBE, Thankyou VERY MUCH!' following our discussion on youtube.
David signed a couple where I already had one signature on it. One Chuck had put 'What should we do?' and David put 'Chuck, lets talk hair!'. Then the other one was Jewel and David in Brainstorm, Jewel put 'Looks like love' and David put, 'Ah my best side! (the back that is)'.

I love 'the other organiser' and I love SM I've been going to their events for years now but isn't a person allowed to like both convention organisers without being accused of deserting or picking one side over the other. I don't want to pick sides I just want to have fun with my mates, the guests and attend these events that really do make my year! Glad all the rumors have now been stamped out and I look forward to meeting BamBam again at the event.

Make a list a check it twice, these things can often be very manic sometimes you'll find yourself at the end of the day thinking that I haven't stopped to eat or drink once! Bring supplies... that includes batteries.
Plan what you want to get signed plan your route to and from the hotel. Planning is half the fun and takes the pressure of you when it finally comes around.
Be yourself, when you meet the guests don't be nervous just be natural they are just average jo's like you and I. Don't act stalkerish or mad by following them around or harassing them, give them space. (Not that you would do that but a general)
Most of all enjoy yourself, bring your camera to take all those pictures to form a great memory of your first con!

Just thought I'd say I don't think any of the crew are to blame in particular. I worked on the main talk area on Sunday and it wasn't our job to get people for the talks the guests and assistants came to us. He wasn't on the list for the free talk so there was obviously a mix up there. I think one of the four was a last minute addition so I'm not sure what happened but it certainly wasn't deliberate.

Another fantastic time had from this end also! I loved the new challenge of working on the talks area on the Sunday and very much enjoyed sitting with Steve on Saturday. Thanks to TooTall, all the pit bosses and those in charge of the areas I worked in. I think we were a great team in the main talk area on Sunday despite the very long queues!

I had a fabulous weekend crewing, the event had the most amazing atmosphere and everybody was so friendly. I was particulary privaledged to be sitting with the lovely Steve Blum on Saturday who was amazing recording voice messages for people, switching from one voice to the next!
I met Misha and Brain both of whom I had a lovely chat with, Misha was such a warm person and it really was a treat to meet him. Brian was also lovely, and just as gorgeous.
Fabulous weekend, shame that first thing this morning I got the post con lurgy seriously gah!

And because my last post was full of Atlantis guests how about Jay Acavone or Colin Cunningham because even after all this time I seem to miss every con they go to!

Am super happy with current guests and really couldn't ask for anyone more BUT...... Peter DeLuise would be squeesome, oh and Martin Wood.... oh and Chuck Campbell, Kavan Smith....am I getting carried away here?

Better late than never, big shout out those in the being human pit I call it that because I can't think what else, even though I was up the far end away from the action was still feeling the love. Jess and Idris were fab pit bosses so big thumbs up to them.
Then what can I say Sunday in the talk area with the lovely Christa, really enjoyed the day despite all the madness. I mean defending the bat mobile against attacks from the joker that was really something. Big thanks to all the girls working in that area on Sunday it was fab!
