Liked my DP gifts, but my little fan that came in the SM bag didn't work... I was gutted when I started to melt in the heat of one of the queues!
Oh well, I guess that'll teach me to take a fan with me next time!

Agree with everyone's comments about the Sheen talk itself being great. They were both funny and insightful, and it was a privilege to get to see them on stage together. The experience of getting into the talk, lack of communication about where to go, queueing for an hour, talk only being an hour long, lack of the limited edition print (which I completely forgot about at the time) are all disappointing parts of an otherwise great experience. I understand that as it was Saturday and it was mega busy that some things didn't run exactly to plan, but hopefully these things can be improved for future events (and it'd be nice if our prints could be posted to us).

Always wanted to meet him, and now I've got a Friday photo

Saturday DP booked... My poor credit card is currently melting from overuse!

I'm absolutely buzzing! Great guest announcement!

Oh hell yes! Amazing announcement!

Still 3 hours to go and the butterflies are going crazy! I have most definitely switched off from work this afternoon and have been obsessively reading forum posts and generally getting myself built up for 19:00!

That's what I get for skim reading 3 pages of posts, I didn't even see Bat had said the same. It's not a question of anything being libellous Michael, it's generally fine to say things like 'i think your guest list blows another certain big company out of the water' but it's against forum rules to discuss other events and as Bat said you gave enough details for the event to be looked up which is definitely a no no I'm afraid. Even though you didn't mean it that way it's giving out enough info for people to look up a competitor.
Gotcha... All understood and corrected, so hopefully it reads a bit better now!

Well, I like it here, so figured I should probably avoid annoying anyone unnecessarily!

Hi Michael, I know you have been very careful but there's still to much info about another event there, please can you edit your post. Date and location is more than enough to find it.
Chris, can you edit your quote for the same reason please
Edited, so hopefully that will avoid any controversy

@MichaelJGGonna want to edit that comment or it's gonna be deleted. Even though you didn't name it, people can look up which con you're talking about. Believe me, I have a warning point for this and there are no loop holes
Or there are but I just haven't figured them out yet.
I'll stand by it - I haven't said anything libellous and I've just pointed out how good the LFCC guests are compared to other events. I'm not exactly advertising the other one in any kind of positive light - I'll trust that anyone reviewing it will look on my comment reasonably, until I see otherwise.

I've just had a look on the website of another Con 'that shall not be named'.
Oh dear! The LFCC guest list smashes theirs by miles! They've got a handful of z-list people I've never heard of and LFCC has got top stars and legends. I've been to the other one twice, but won't be going again! This is my first LFCC and I can't wait!

I know this is probably slightly controversial, but I REALLY hate Funko Pops! These horribly designed mass-produced plastic figures seem to be everywhere I look and I can't be the only person who can't stand them. I think my main issue is that at every ComicCon there are seemingly endless stacks of these lifeless cookie-cutter characters that are overpriced and seemingly have people going crazy to collect them. Also, it's now really difficult to find any decent quality action figures or figurines which actually look like the characters they're supposed to represent, as every retailer has filled their shelves with the soulless little bobble-heads!
Someone, please tell me I'm not the only one who feels like this. Bring back proper quality collectables, and let's see the end of these things!

Anyone else got the sudden urge to binge-watch all the Batman movies now?
