  1. I scan my photos before I put them in my scrapbook so I've got digital and reality copy. I used to collect star trek autos but all I saw were scribbles and could barley identify who was who. I cant justify the price of an auto, plus they can be difficult to sell on since you need a certificate to prove they are genuine. However I did get Robert Englund to sign my nightmare on elm street dvd box set only because I'm a massive freddy fan and I will get Gillian Anderson to sign my Scully doll if showmasters will get her again. (I'll never sell them because they are my priceless artifacts) Photos are the best way for me because its creating a personal moment and it's something to look at, so when I'm having a bad day example I'll look at em and it puts a smile on my face. I used to hang mine on the wall but they always fell off so as I said in an earlier post I put mine in a scrapbook now and it's a lot easier. It's also easy to show people as you dont have to make em sit infront of a screen, having said that I put them on my phone the digital ones so it's easy access to show people if I'm out visiting friends.

  2. Once again my dad and I had a great time at a showmasters event, the staff looked after us like always. I had 6 photoshoots the only small hick up we got was near to the end as the late domino effect what was started by an over flow for Robert Englund, however I didn't get stressed about it as it was happening to all three booths. All my photos turn out ok, my favorite photo is with Adrian Edmunson when I asked him to kick me up the back side. All the guests I had photos with were talkative and generally seemed happy to be there. I have a tip for the showmasters crew who have to organize the queuing system, rather than try and shout out to people by telling them who is in the photo booth and what batch number is next why not hold up a LED name holder and edit it each time you need to change it and have one on the photo booth wall. or just get a big piece of card and write name with batch number? my only negative is that it was a shame that the photo booths were not next to each other like B and C were. I understand its health and safety, my poor dad was rushed off his feet pushing me in my wheelchair and I felt for those other disabled people who can walk must be finding it very difficult. I also wonder did showmasters cut down on the extra help scam this weekend? I can believe that some people will try it on but come on people a disability is for life and it's no fun at all and people like us really do need the extra help.

Hey guys, I sent in the extra help form a little while back now for both this convention and London, and as of yet haven’t heard back for either of them. What should I do?

    Cheers.

me too, I can only think that once you hand in the entry ticket you'll get an extra help wist band. as Raylenth said bring paper work example DWP or PIP or anything to prove you have a disability. The crew are excellent when it comes to helping out people with disabilities, I've never any problems. Top tip always try and get in early and go to front of desk to get extra help band and when you have photo shoot or autograph tell/show crew member and they'll put you in front, however they normally let diamond passes in first which is fair enough.

  4. keep calm people, it's all on one level this is for sure, however I cannot say if the photo booths will be near each other as they seem to change it depending on number of guests they have. I think last year they had about 4/5 photo booths. always ask a crew member for directions and they should tell you.

  5. the area is one level and I remember that the photo booths are pretty close to each other, though please don't quote me on this as it can change. I guess it depends what props and green-screen shoots they have too.
