  1. If you can't be bothered to meet your fans then don't turn up SIMPLES.

This says it all really. In the world of seeking autographs and meeting people you admire this comment hits the nail on the head. Someone mentioned the event being like a 'zoo'. I see it as a two way thing. To be honest, if they're coming to the event as for them it's 'free money' then they're coming with the wrong motive. Also I've heard that he can be a bit of a miserable individual.

  2. ,Autographs were brisk (Felt the same as when I met Stan Lee), only person I've every met that was worse was Carrie Fisher back when Collectormania was in the MK Centre, she never looked up once, just kept signing what was ever put under her nose'. Unfortunately that's how she was at LFCC a couple of years ago and at that 'other event' recently. Thankfully I managed to get Carrie's signature subsequently for free, but yes it was also a 'factory line' experience. As was Famke's. Now I regret passing on Jeremy as everyone here is saying how pleasant and nice he was to everyone. Just makes the pain of paying for the signature less so.....

  3. When I talked to Sean, he was absolutely fine. I just had a general chit chat with him as I only found a postcard one of the vendors was selling for him to sign. If I was a huge fan, then I could've been talking to him for ages. There was no queue when I approached him.

  4. I wasn't planning to meet him originally. However I changed my mind at the last minute and bought a Hannibal Funko from one of the stalls for him to sign. Although I didn't have much to say to him, he was genuinely interested in you as a fan. He asked me what I'd brought for him to sign. I'm not sure he's seen himself immortalized in plastic previously. He signed the back for me, shook my hand. Thanked me for me saying that I was looking forwards to Rogue One. Shame that some other guests weren't more like him!

  5. My only real gripe is with crew members being allowed to 'jump' the queue. This sort of behaviour leads to people already in the queue getting annoyed to put it politely. Yes, being on crew may have it's benefits when coming to get things signed from guests but no way should they be at the front of the queue. Fair enough they don't need a virtual queue ticket, but no way should they be allowed to just 'bypass' everyone else and be at the front when everyone else has been waiting. They should be at the back of the queue as it's only fair on those who've been waiting in the queue to meet the guest. Other than this gripe overall the layout of keeping all guests mainly in one place was an improvement over last year. I agree that the Suicide squad costume display should've been elsewhere.

  6. I can't help but echo all the comments about it being a disappointing experience meeting her. I had two things for her to sign but decided on one. Really wish I hadn't bothered as the whole thing was like a 'factory line'. With Sigourney Weaver at least she made eye contact and smiled at you. With Ms Weaver she made it seem like she appreciated that you made the trouble not to mention expense of seeing her. All the other larger guests, Mads, Rutger and Ian McDiarmid, they made you feel very welcome. Despite the somewhat steep prices of Mads and Ian, the whole experience with them made it seem not so bad. So I agree that even though Famke may have been feeling 'off' the lure of £££ probably made it tolerable to endure the pain.

  7. I agree with the consensus that the Gold pass really does need to be re-looked at going forwards. I agree that the £10 restriction is a bit daft and that really it should be used for offsetting against any autograph price. Fortunately for me, there are a few £10 guests that I do want to meet. However as not everyone is in the same boat, by making the £10 voucher able to be offset against signature prices, makes everything a more even playing field. Just sayin....
