Been here two days and I've not even seen it
-
If you go to the sales desk tomorrow all they will say is that none are available
-
Yup I think we need a revised schedule

Best wishes to him, his health comes first

My third massive cancellation. It'll still be a great show but I'm sad More money on other things though I suppose. Let's hope it clears before the end of the weekend!
-
Argh don't get me started on Yodel
-
There was also the opportunity to buy a regular photo with Christopher Lloyd outside of the diamond pass

Bummed that this clashes with Tom Savini so will have to exit and come back
-
But do guests like Tom Burke and Maimie McCoy sign all Saturday while they're not shooting or will there be a certain time limit?
As answered before, when they are not at lunch or in a photo shoot they will be signing
-
Agreed! Well done Mods!

Nice, no clashes (so far) and I can work out which other last minute shoots to buy now

Noooooo I absolutely love Malcolm, I hope he can come back #heartbroken

Just spotted a sigourney weaver diamond pass for £600... it's disgraceful. Luckily its unsold but seriously? A genuine fan could have bought that for your original price.
If it's the same seller, their first auction was taken down, so hopefully this one will be too

The price of the diamond pass will not be pro-rata'd just because you can't attend the full weekend. It is not SM fault you hadn't bought entry before they sold out...I'm not sure what your options are now in afraid. There was talk of people emailing the shop if they had already bought diamond passes before the weekend tickets sold out but as your buying this after they've already sold out I'm not sure what they can do?

It may have been mentioned but SDCC have a pass system with just your name on, that you pick up at the event with your confirmation and ID. They have a registration (similar to Sherlocked) it would mean maybe extending the event to include a Thursday registration but it safeguards customers and nobody else can use their tickets.

So glad that this issue has been officially acknowledged. A buy back system would be a good place to start, but that only helps the genuine fans who can no longer go. Every time I see an eBay listing I report it. There is one currently on auction for £200 Saturday entry which is ridiculous. I also try and encourage people not to buy tickets in the Facebook page (which is rife ATM) so it's also good you will be spot checking them too

Really looking forward to meeting Michael J Fox and the Doc. I decided to purchase an original back to the future 2 poster and can't wait to get it signed. I'm hoping they will have silver or gold pens to sign with.
If you are looking into getting a poster take a look at the back to the future posters at http://www.originalposter.co.uk/postersearch_results.asp?catid=%25&gid=%25&title=back+to+the+future&star=&Submit.x=85&Submit.y=10&Submit=Search
Crikey, how much did you pay for yours?

What do you mean by pulling a Coleman, Jenna was at the con last year or did she cancel another year before?Anyone had a refund yet? I feel even more disappointed with the cancellation after seeing she's still attending an American event this weekend. Don't suppose anyone has came across a reason for why she can't make London?
Maybe American flight = around 4 hours, intercontinental flight around 12 hours if you're on the West Coast? US travel is always easier for American guests.
why agree to appear in the first place then?
anyway, she put a message on twitter explaining why she cant make it. apparently an acting opportunity has come up that she cant pass up and she only has one chance to be part of it. she was REALLY apologetic in her message and said shes going to try and come over to another UK event in the future.
at least she didnt pull a coleman :)
Chad Coleman (tyreese on TWD) he was meant to come to WLFCC 2013 but cancelled (apparently he had 'filming' to do)
instead he turned up at a con in the states the same weekend as WLFCC
Really? That's rude. It was still a good con because Jon Bernthal was amazing

Potentially dangerous, might buy all the shoots in the queue

on a big enough level that it got its own now worldwide con ...... and that's before we start talking about the comics and video games the walking dead franchise is huge
but what level is that because it only get watched by a miniority audience on Channel 5/sky. I like it but most people i know either don't watch it, never heard of it or watched it once and don't watch anymore.
Well to be honest walking dead is current running show and is on another level compared to other shows with the exception of one current show (GoT)As I've said elsewhere - at least you get SOME TWD guests. A lot of modern shows don't have ANY guests attending at all. To be honest I think fans are pretty lucky in that respect. At least SM have had a good number of guests from the show over the last few years.
This. It is a massive franchise.

Unfortunately guest cancellations are inevitable due to work schedules, and is out of SM hands; but that shouldn't put a dampener on your weekend as there are plenty of other guests to meet. Hope you have a good time

Day 2
in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Posted
Got to the queue about 7am and was let in fairly quickly. Although not at the front I went straight to get VQs for Lea Thompson (51) and Michael Gambon (over 300 already!)
Wookie, was an absolute star once again the MJF/ Michael Gambon line, hats off to you matey!
I do think the autograph area on the first floor is far too cramped, and considering the whole point of moving to Olympia was for more room (also Earl's Court being knocked down ) it was a poor choice to have so many guests in one small space with no air and it became very hot very quickly. Also having guests lined up in such a way means that queues will merge and it's just madness.
I did manage to get Lea Thompson auto graph later in the afternoon, fabulous and friendly lady, but whoever was the volunteer at her table I found her really rude, and I don't like saying that but when Lea asked if I wanted a photo she wouldn't help take one, and nobody else in the queue would either so I felt like I'd missed an opportunity there, oh well.
Overall a good day, however I will echo other people's thoughts and I feel like SM have repeated mistakes in regards to capacity, and this then becomes a health and safety issue, although I'm aware that will probably fall on death ears because they are a business and it's all about $$$$ and not about our experience
