  1. So my friend and I were standing on level 3 waiting for the elevator. *Ding* The doors open and, to our surprise and amazement, Iain Glen walks out and we immediately stopped our conversation and just watched in awe. I know he's human, but he (or any guest for that matter) was the last person we expected to see walk out of the elevator, and it caught us completely off guard as we just stared. Quite embarrassing, but awesome at the same time. The other amazing moment was having a long chat with Will Simpson about taking a chance with your work and getting a job in our respective creative fields. He was really humble and funny guy, and spoke a lot of sense. I will definitely start sharing my work more and not get discouraged.
  2. Thanks for all the helpful responses. Lucky, I do not need any VQ tickets as the main guests I wish to meet are Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bullock and Gary Kurtz, who, from memory of last year, have open queues. I was only worried about queuing for a very long time and to miss most of the day, as I only have one ticket, but as many of you have reassured, 8am is a reasonable time to start queuing. If I can get in between 10-11am I'd be happy! I hope there haven't been too many issues for people this year.
  3. That's quite a while. I hope you get in ASAP and still manage to do everything you intended to do!
  4. Wow, really? I went last year, with the standard weekend entry that allowed access from 11am, and it was bad, but not like this. And Sunday is sold out too, which doesn't hold much hope. What time did you start queuing may I ask?
  5. Hello, I will hopefully be arriving at the venue tomorrow morning at around 8am (I am only attending the one day). I've heard a lot of problems about getting in, so I'm just curious as to whether this is early enough to gain entry for around 10 am? As, unlike many of you, I won't have another day to meet guests and I'd rather know in advance as to whether to get there sooner. Thank you, and I hope your day goes smoothly! Will
  6. Does anyone know as to whether he'll be doing sketches? And also, roughly how much?
  7. I hope it's something awesome, and I hope it's on Sunday!
  8. Oh okay, thank you for your response! And I ordered them separately. Damn, if I'd know I would have saved money by ordering them together then I would have. Maybe Showmasters will let me off haha. Nonetheless, thank you for your reply!
  9. Hello, I have ordered two Sunday tickets, and on one of them I must not have clicked the E-ticket validation button (I thought I did). I haven't been charged the extra £2.50 and I'm not sure what I should do as according to the site I may not gain entry without it. Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you.
  10. Okay, thank you! :) I wasn't sure if I had missed it or not.
  11. Hello, I remember last year there being a schedule of all the paid and free talks across the three days, and I was wondering if and when it will be released? As I went to some very enjoyable ones last year and I'd like to know what talks will be occurring on the Sunday. Thank you.
  12. @GamerGraph. Thank you, this helped a lot. What Iron Man poster do you have a duplicate of? Ooh, nice! That's what I had in mind with this idea, as I'm more a fan of the films anyway and I can add to them over the years. Thanks again! :)
  13. Hello again, I'd like to get either a comic or a marvel movie poster signed by Stan Lee, but I'm not sure which. I'm looking to purchase a new comic, specifically for his signature, but I don't know which. Any ideas? With regards to a movie poster, it would be cheaper (and depending on the franchise, room for other people who worked on the film to sign it also). Any thoughts? P.S. What sort of images (if anyone has met Stan Lee before) does he tend to have at his desk? Just curious.
  14. Thanks @Queen_Sindel! I'll look into possibly getting there at bit sooner. And @robertderidder, I'm considering getting an autograph with Stan Lee. He's the biggest name I had in mind, but I'll be attending the preview session on the Friday, so I hope to get it done then.
