    Absolutely gutted I cannot meet Stan Lee. Being young I only have a paper round, and it's taken all the savings from that to try make it to Con, and £45...I really just don't have the money. Him being 91 too, I doubt I'll have the chance to meet him again... Is there anyway you'll be launching a competition - or as you mentioned for the freebie programme - for photoshoots or autos with Stan? I'm genuinely gutted I can't afford it (

    Does George have VT's? Do you think it's possible I can go up with a friend who's getting an auto - to take pictures, chat briefly - if I'm not getting one? I don't think he'll be insanely popular.

    I think I've decided to just hang around close to the area in the 15 minutes before Jenna's talk, and then queue earlier for Sherlocked. I might spot her, you never know and I have a photoshoot in the evening with her (: Also gives me a bit more money to meet someone else with...hm.

    You can't queue for Sherlocked until the Jenna talk has started as there is not enough space. I've already paid for Jenna's talk, then photos with Jemma Redgrave and Adjoa Andoh so I can't queue for Sherlocked either. I have however put in a request with friends to tell me if there is still space at 1pm. Thank you, I just read this on another thread :) I'm just going to queue for Sherlocked, as soon as the Jenna peeps go in :)

    Not an underground tunnel then? I thought guests would be smuggled about. I don't know how easily they transport them Rolled up in a carpet slung over shoulder? Or maybe some kind of hovercraft? Or in disguise....lol Don't take the Mickey I dunno what to expect! I was imagining another door to get out of, or an escort, or being hidden by a hoodie like some sort of popstar...

    And I'm sure you're right, these two talks are gonna be two of the biggest over the weekend. I'm really contemplating. I'll guess I'll have to miss Jenna's talk to be one of the first in the queue for Sherlocked. I'm hoping I spot her leaving before I meet her at 5 :)

    Some people just come across as blatantly rude to Showmasters I mean I can't make the Atlantis talk or the free Who one as I'm just going on the Saturday, but you see me cussing anyone? Blimey, sorry you have to work for these guys

    I wish. I love Orphan Black. How, by the way, do the guests get in between places? Surely, if I'm waiting for Sherlocked as soon as I get in, I'll more then likely see Jenna at least with my eyes?

    Quick question - I'm planning on going to the Jenna talk which is just before the Sherlock one. I'm sure when we're 'unloaded' there is bound to be a big queue, and I won't be able to be as close as I wanted to be - I was planning on queueing first thing. Is there anything that can be done about this so I can get near the front for the Sherlocked talk or is it just a case of choosing?

    Hi guys - this is going to be broad so be prepared. I was possibly looking into setting up a Sci-Fi con, a smaller one for charity or something. I have a confirmed, ideal venue and all that (large theatre, auditorium, many rooms, two floors the lot), and quite a large team to work with and ask with. Obviously as I'm getting to plan a smaller event I'm not exactly looking for Stan Lee to make an appearance, but I would like some advice on how Showmasters get their events off the ground, so I have a starting place to work with for this 'smaller' con. Sorry to be so broad, but I thought Showmasters were the best people to ask when it comes to this topic.

    Sorry to ask such a broad question, but I hope one of the admins could help me with this specific. I'm thinking of going to Jenna's talk, but I'm not sure how worth it it is right now. I was wondering if anyone could tell me specifically how many tickets have been sold, and now far I would be back. Thanks :)
