  1. The problem with that is that tickets can be handed over to another person. Body parts can't. ;)

In the past years it always took me more than one shower until the stamp was gone. I wouldn't go as far as using a carrier bag. Just don't scrub too hard.

Yeah same, even in the heat, the stamp never completely comes off for me :P I always get people asking if I've bruised my hand haha

Thanks for the advice. I think to be safe i will adopt this stance while i shower so as not to rub off the stamp

  2. regarding the hand stamping for re entry. I've done this alot in previous years when i have gone for a pub lunch around dinner time, however this year my hotel is right next to the venue and after my dinner i was thinking of going back to my hotel and having a shower and a change as i can feel quite grimy after a few hours at these events. What if the stamp washed off? would it be possible to stamp my ticket stub or any other way anyone can think of or am i gonna have to tie a carrier bag round my lower arm lol.

  3. Here's one that I got tonight, the lovely Jenny Agutter on my American Werewolf In London (blu-ray steelbook) :D

I've never got a steelbook signed yet, does the sig stay on or is it prone to being rubbed off? Love that AWiL steely, one of my faves too.

  4. OK, so my collection isn't anywhere near as impressive as the majority here, however, I have been collecting horror autographs on and off for the last 12 or so years. Here is a selection of my favourites..........

    Autos001_zpseb31c906.jpg

The Leatherfaces - Gunner Hanson, Andrew Bryniarski and Dan Yeager.

The Jasons - Richard Brooker (no. 3), Tom Morga (no. 5), Kane Hodder (no. 7-10), Ken Kirzinger (FvJ)

The Halloween Girls - Scout Taylor Compton and Dannielle Harris

Other Notable Mentions........Kane Hodder (again) as Victor Crawley, Robert Englund (everyone has met this guy...LOL) as Freddy Kruger and Tony Todd as The Candyman.

    Thats all for now!!!

    Awesome.

  5. This could end up being one MASSIVE thread if I post my whole Horror collection !

The other challenge I have is most of it is stored away in boxes sadly, rather than on display, as it seemed a bit unfair on them to make my two boys share a bedroom so I could keep my Horror shrine !

I didn't actually have a Horror Shrine but that did sound quite good, in fact I just used to use the back bedroom to store all my film related stuff, which mainly was on shelves and is now stored in boxes or in the loft !

A lot of my Horror collection is Hammer Horror related, although I do have a lot of other Horror DVDs and a growing Horror Blu Ray collection, a lot of different Horror books and magazines, some posters, some soundtracks, well over 100 autographed Horror items now (photos, DVDs, Blu-Rays). And the various other things , couple of figures (not really got many of these) and some trading cards, games etc

You've got to show some now  that collection sounds epic.

  6.

...but why pay well over $100 when the Arrow box is so reasonably priced.

I thought that too until I watched the Synapse release; It is vastly superior to Arrow's (c-ock-up) release.

Aside from some slight compression issues on D2 i think the Arrow release is pretty good. Not seen the Synapse versions though.

  7. I recently got that Demons tin too; I was tempted by the Synapse blu ray releases which are the ultimate editions but why pay well over $100 when the Arrow box is so reasonably priced.

The Arrow editions are great for Demons 1&2. While i rate Synapse(got Countess Dracula the other day) the steelbooks are ridiculously priced.

  8. That's one hell of a bluray collection, some awesome cult stuff in there.

I have to get my photobucket sorted out so I can post some photos on here, not that I have too much to show.

My fave horror figure I own, though strictly not from a horror film, is a large Vincent Price figure from Edward Scissorhands.

As for horror books I own, I could plug my own horror novel which is available from a certain website that shares its name with a south American river, but that would be really egotistical of me so I'm not going to even mention Draculand. So that aside, my fave horror merch in book form is my Evil Dead Necronomicon replica note pad. If they get Bruce again, that's definitely getting signed.

I only just upgraded to Bluray but my steel tin Demons 1 and 2 set from Arrow has already taken pride of place, it's just lovely looking and the films aren't too shabby either/

My wife is obsessed with Tim Burton, so we have a lot of Nightmare Before Xmas and Corpse Bride figures and kitchenware about the place too.

Cheers mate. Props for being a horror novelist, too cool. Might have to give it a read late summer.

  9. Never really understand why they box off guests unless sm don't want you to look at them for free  I always get autos on impulse as well and have never got a boxed guest on impulse, it was only when i saw others photos that i wished i had got Norman Reedus, if i would have saw him im sure i would of impulse bought. Out of sight out of mind i suppose.

  10. I was worried that there would be no one horror for me for quite awhile but then George Romero was announced, so you never know who they will announce. I hope you get a great guest announcement Wolverniel. We are all like minded people on here at the end of the day.

  11. For nigh on 20 years i've been collecting horror merchandise and i thought i'd show some of it to my fellow horror fans on here, i don't have too much signed stuff so i thought i'd start a seperate non signed thread for it. I would love to see what others have as well so please post yours if you like. I will update this every now and again with different images and videos of my stuff inc posters, figures, blu rays etc. I've a spare room full of the stuff
