  1. Lovely guy, met him at London last year in the Boba Fett costume. Got him to sign the photo at Cardiff in September. Didn't realise he gave the proceeds of the costume shoot to charity as he told me how much they had raised from that shoot. At Cardiff he ended up comparing my photo with the official Boba Fett photo as he was wanted to see if the costume was on right and matched. Really sweet guy.

Robin of Sherwood was also filmed near my house and I can still remember the sunny summer evenings spent watching them film it. Great memories.

  2. Does anyone know the name of the company that were selling the photo frames at the entrance to the autograph area?

They were made especially for each celeb and had a photo from whatever film / tv they were in, a name plaque and
a space to put your own photo from the event.

They had sold out of most by Sunday so couldn't get any,

Just wondering if they had a website to order from.

    Regards

It is still being looked at. Sorry, but there are several people involved and most are not in the office.

    Hi,

Another 2 weeks passed and not heard a dickie-bird. Do you know who I can chase this up with? I appreciate the help so far but
even an acknowledgement that my query is being looked into would be nice

  4. Who do I contact regarding the quality of the photos?

At the start of the Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford Tardis shoot the Green Screen processing was way out and the photo is not good quality. So much so it's not even been uploaded to the site for purchasing. Would like to draw this to the powers that be attention and request a refund for the shoot.

  5. Was there on Sunday and very impressed with the show layout and organisation. First time I've been to the NEC and not had to queue for food for hours.

Met Ernie Hudson and had the Ecto1 photo shoot. What a great guy. Really genuine and a pleasure to meet.

Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford - Colin on top form as always. Really interacting with the guests and Bonnie Langford was a laugh as well.
Only complaint was that the green screen for the Tardis shoot was out of whack and the photo is really bad. Nothing they could do as the queue
was building up and the set-up was rushed as they rebooted laptops and re-jigged the software but to no avail. Disappointed with the photo ( if I could get a refund I would ), but Colin and Bonnie were great fun.

Helen Slater - have to say, not impressed. Was really looking forward to meeting Helen and there was no interaction at all at the photo shoot. This
was Sunday afternoon so perhaps she was getting tired but I left really disappointed. I then went to get my autograph and she seemed the same. Very little
interaction and very difficult to talk to. And no personlisation on the autograph, just signed her name and that's it. Again, very disappointed.

My wife on the other hand had a ball.
Carlos Valdes was brilliant, a really nice guy and came across really well.
Dean Cain was excellent.Huge hugs for my wife and seemed to having great fun at the signings as well. Really engaged with people.
Michael Shanks was cool as well. Another big hug for the wife ( she got all the hugs, I was very jealous )

So mostly highs and one particular low but that's the way it goes. All-in-all a very good day out and enjoyed by all. Well done Showmasters for a very well run event.

  6. I logged in to the Eventbrite app today and they appear to have changed the way the tickets are displayed.

There is now nowhere on the ticket which states what Batch Number the ticket is for. It was displayed at the bottom
    of the ticket previously.

I can imagine this will cause all sorts of problems as no-one using the App will know what batch they have and the people moderating the
queues will have no way to check when scanning the QR code.

    Can this change be reverted?

  7. Just two points to clarify and I'm all good.

Can I just confirm that if I have a Batch 1 ticket for the a photoshoot, I can use this for the later Batch 2 shoot if I miss Batch 1 due to a clash with talks?

Also, paid talk tickets, can my wife reserve seats as we will be attending the Christopher Lloyd shoot on Sunday which clashes with the start of TNG talk. I have read that you cannot reserve seats for the free talks ... but can my wife put coats and bags on seats for the paid talks prior to the rest of the group arriving?

    Many thanks

    Jeff
