  1. To be honest I don't think that sort of agreement with WWE would be possible. When they're on the European tour they're on the go constantly. To give up maybe 10 wrestlers for a day or 2 is a big ask.

Shop signings only go on for a couple hours and is limited to maybe 2 wrestlers. The number of fans that can meet them are capped as well.

When active roster members have appeared for Cons out in the States there appearances have only gone on for a couple of hours as well and they're not cheap.

I think the only way an active member of the roster would be allowed to attend a show like this were if they were injured, selling an injury or generally written out of the story lines for a while and even then it's unlikely.

The only member of the roster I know who has been able to do stuff is William Regal and his 1 man show. And that is after the house show or tv taping has finished.

Sorry for sounding like the prophet of doom and gloom but I'm just outlining some obstacles I think will surface for a WWE collaborated event. Hopefully I'm completely wrong and something might come about but I won't hold my breath.

Totally agree. TNA and retired wwe are the norm.

  2. I got my entry tickets last December. People moaning about how they were waiting for payday (for the end of June) have nobody to blame but themselves. I knew back then I would be going even though most of the guests I want to meet weren't even announced at that point. Why leave things to the last minute and then cry about not getting a ticket? Hopefully those who have failed to plan will now have learned, all be it the hard way.

Anyone that went last year must know that it was going to sell out.

Always buy early. Get cheaper hotels that way.

Yes but then if finances go awry and you decide to not do the show on travel costs basis.. you end up with a load of tickets that are a potential source of income, either via ebay, or refunds..

So you could end up with, say, about £200 of photo shoots including a 'gold dust' one (Lee) going begging..

Or of course the only person you're apparently going for, cancels.. and then you take to the message boards complaining...

Oh and for those thinking folks live on here, and somehow avoided the 'more tickets have been added' etc.. Some have lives/other interests.. and it gets tired reading folks dribble about how they don't like/know person X or film X because it was out before they were born etc..

Or you could set your phone to alert you of twitter posts by showmasters. It's really not that hard and you can go about a extremely exciting life.

Some people either camp out the night or get there between 6 and 7 am

Which is a very very small group of early birds only IF it happens. Unless I missed a massive camp out overnight with Stan Lee last year that part hasn't even actually happened. Don't make people worry unnecessarily.

I camped out.....at the ibis over the road last year. Got up for breakfast, called the lift, doors opened......to be greater by The Ghostbusters. I remember waking up crazy early around 4am and looked out the window and seeing what I thought were Breaking Bad cosplayers and then realising they were street cleaner.

  5. My views on Saturday...

Dealers in the tents outside was ridiculous. Their stuff was getting wet and the rain made it all smell. I didn't even see it signposted until the end.

Having the cosplay stage covering so much of the concourse and making everyone walk around the outside of it, tripping over it and wheelchairs trying to get past? Silly. Also having it closed off for long periods of time meaning you had to walk aaallll the way around the stadium to get to the other side. Took way too long. The security around that part were mean too.

The type of ~men~ that were hanging around the sports section were rude and pervy. Seriously have a separate event for sports guests.

Also, smelly people. Being so crowded you got pushed up against them, and ew.

If you took the sports guests away from CM there would be no CM in my opinion. People that are there for the sports guests spend serious money. I spent £350 in 2 hours, not including the photos that were already paid for. There were people there spend thousands on sports guest, I guess that's why every show there's more and more of them. I'm sure there are people there for sports guest that get the hump with lurkers trying to push into or snapping mobile phone pictures around curtains

  6. I don't know the ladies name but I know she's a regular. We really did laugh yesterday after I reminded her of the conversation we had last year that she aways seems to get the good looking lads to work with. She's a lovely lady and if I remember she was with Herold Graham last year and the pair of them were giggling like naughty school children all day. The crew are normally a happy bunch but always look forward to seeing her as we always have such a laugh.

  7. Mate if you see people Q jumping let them crew know. There's security for the sports guests and they'll send them to the back. Are you sure you didn't see people with Gold passes or people with disability passes? I've got to agree about a few people lacking in hygiene, tesco has got 99p right guard people!!!! The rain was proper bobbins, in the 50 feet from the gate to the car I was drowned lol. Also I've got to agree with the fee being a good idea. Only used it to get VQs but I bet it saved me an hour of queues
