There are a few similar threads. How many times can you say the queues were long and it was busy. That could have been the reason, I did see one last night that was a bit abusive so if someone commenting might have got the thread deleted rather than the original post maybe.

It wasn't the cosplayers that were whiffy. It was men in tshirts that looked like they hadn't washed all week. If you smell more than a wookie you've got issues baby!

Did have a chat a while ago with SM staff asking if guest ever read the forum to be told they 100% do and there was a issue at a previous event with a guest being upset about comments.
As we're all fans and want to attend these events you can see why comments that have guests names in would be removed.
If they did knock it back a notch people would be complaining that the level of guests were poor so you can't win.

First photoshoot missed already? But it's only 9am now? How's that when it opens at 9am?Well finally found the end of the raly bird q. Its so long they actaully ran out of building to Q round. First photo shoot missed already. Id ask a member of staff but I passed the last one half an hour ago and still wont get to the front of the Q
Well people asked what would happen if there was a fire and we're about to find out because that was a epic burn!!!

Got to agree the name of that thread was a little thoughtless. I was at Newcastle Saturday and it was chaos but Sunday they pulled it around. I hope they do the same today.

biggest problem is Earls court own staff, they seem to have no clue what SM staff are saying or needing. Because they were swamped with people outside yesterday the attitude of Earls Court staff seemed to be 'i don't need this hassle' and people were just fobbed off to find their own way around the problems. i did over hear one blue shirt SM staff member outside the entrance ask a red shirt guy for more help outside . nobody was checking the lines. Early bird ticket holders were mixed in with those not due in until later and others had no tickets at all. some signs explaining each queue were up on the building but when you've got people standing in front of them and staff not keeping them clear they become useless to anyone arriving.

With all the stressed people they should have been directed there. The type of massages you get outside the con is your issue.

And I can honestly say I had more gripes with the other people there. Randomly posing for photos in door ways, barging past people, general hygiene, etc all bothered me substantially more than the couple of boring hours doing nothing.
At LFCC 2015 I'm bring cans of lynx to hand out. Just because it's 48 hour deodorant it still means you have to shower everyday.

I get some people were upset but this is now the heavy weight championship/fa cup type event and you wouldn't turn up at wembley without a ticket. Maybe if they had pay on the day in the afternoon as not everyone stays all day. (We only stay 3 hours).
We had early bird tickets, got there at 8,30 after finding the right queue and getting in around 9,30 found everything was great until 11 when the standard entry started coming in and then it got a little uncomfortable but as we were nearly done when that happened we lived with it.
This was a great event, the best SM event so far. It was always going to be crazy with some of the names this year but as guests we have to do our part and buy tickets in advance.

We had a few minor issues but we had a great day. Guests were great and some of the cosplayers were really excellent, best I've seen. The girl that was Brave on Friday was excellent.

On fb and twitter it was posted all prepaid got in.

I got there before 8am, joined the queue and got in pretty quick. It was well sign posted which queue was which...Chaos outside, no one knows what queue to be in. Told to join one queue and then told told to join another.
After reading others stories I take back everything. Our problems were small fry.

Sounds like that may have been mistaken queue? Did you actually speak to them and tell them where to go? Or did you leave it and then laugh at their expense on the forum?2 french girls queue jumped into the early bird line behind us, when they got to the front they had 11am tickets......little bit of justice.
They knew what they were doing, I speak a little French from working in Europe. I'm not the line police and as they were behind me not my place to tell them.

I'd get there at 8.30 rather than 9.30 but I'd guess if you've got tickets you'll be fine. We were in by 9.30 ish with EB tickets. Get your VQs early is my advice.

the roads in the area were choas, took nearly 3 hours to get home to Northampton. im complaining today but ill be buying more tickets next week

Yes, it was particularly grim-smelling in there today... Ergh...
glad it wasnt only me that noticed, I made a few comments about the lynx effect but it wasnt taken on board

I do agree with Clarkee. The guy is 91 for 1 and secondly in guessing he's not cheap and SM have got to make the ££££ to cover his fee.
