If you add hotels and parking I didn't get much change out of 800 quid and then you can add on 150 at the Stamford Bridge megastore.
But I did come out with money because I didn't bother shopping like I normally do.

I thought it was a brilliant show but ticket only is a great idea.

I think we really need to consider the fact that there's more that 1 king Richard because he was everywhere.

It's more than fine to have a bromance on him, Infact if you don't your probably ill xDI have bit of a man crush on him after this weekend.
I'm sure he'd be a kind and generous lover.

Yeah that was dani :)
She is an alternative model.
I've followed her on fb for ages. Gorgeous girl.
Snap, she's lovely. Reminds me of the girl from 2 broke girls.

SM are great with disabled guests, my son's registered disabled and the crew are brilliant.

Up entry to 20 quid and have a limit on sales. Do the event over a full 3 or 4 days like the 2 similar sized cons in Us and Canada cons.
I'd up it further to 50 quid and give a free 15 pound autograph similar to what they did at Autographica/Boxingmania at Birmingham.

Are you sure it wasnt SM staff? We had a girl in front of us in Milo Ventimiglia line getting prepaid autographs done.

Milo was brilliant, I've met loads of guests at previous cons and he was by far the politest man I've ever met. When I got to the front of his line he held out his hand and said "Hello, my names Milo what's your name"? I introduced myself and my son and said "it's funny we decided on the name Nathan watching Heroes". Milo laughed and said "That's so funny because there was not going to be a character called Nathan and it was only the day before the first shoot they changed the name of the part to Nathan from Harrison" and in the early scripts he was still called Harrison.

I did see DavidB on Friday night, was to shy to ask for a autograph.

More people should post about the good time they had rather than the cry babies who mostly didn't have tickets!
-
Did anyone see Tricia Helfer or possible the girl cosplaying as her? She was in a red dress and looked fantastic, I still don't know if it was her or not!

There's 2 ways of doing this high prices and fewer attendees or reasonable prices and big crowds. I personally would have rather pay more and have a bit more room and shorter queues.
SM is a business that had no regard for health & safety on Saturday.
They also have a duty of health and safety to the guest remember. They are guests not slaves and you can't expect them to work non stop for 10 hours.
-
It depends, I would only say so for the headline guests
Oh yea I mean Stan Lee, Jenna Coleman, Carrie Fisher etc
-
When guest are at the next level of busy do you think selling autograph tickets with time slots would be a good idea?
-
Now I'm upset I missed you
-
Nail on the head mate, best review I've read of the weekend. The only thing you missed was Carries dog was the coolest "person" at the con.

Glad you had a good time lads. The people that prebooked seemed to hopefully that'll be a lesson to a lot of people.

I saw King James outside and Too Tall over by Kenny Baker.

It was poor organisation on everyone's part really but look at some of the posts recently. Extra Stan Lee sessions, the complicated entry post and asking for more crew for LFCC post. It wasn't great but it's wasn't Gaza or Hillsborough either. It was a popular event in London it was always going to be chaos. I am surprised there was no police there, you've got to think at Stamford bridge around the corner there would be police there. It might have kept a little order and stopped the queue jumps at least.

I thought Stan Lee was very cheap. When you look at there has been guests at Autographica that have been 3 figures. It was 45 and let loads of people get a autograph or 90 and let half as many. You've got to remember Stan's in his 90s and it seems the pace goto Jenna Coleman who is in her 20s. I think the number of people he saw should be commended but it was always going to be first come first serve. You do read a lot about people worrying about safety and crowds etc but then in the same breath they'll work a guy in his 90s 12 hours a day with no breaks in high temperatures.

100% agree. Everyone's looking for someone to blame.

I'd say pay on the day were the factor. They knew in advance about the ticketed attendees and the 3000 tickets they sold on the day would have made it more comfortable inside.

TT definitely not a ironic nick name.
