  1. I was hoping someone here could help me , i'm a comic noobie and I bought a punisher #5 (1986) a while back to get signed as this is stan's last European signing and i didnt want to miss out on what is my only chance to meet the man . I'm looking for help with caring for my comic during/after the con. At cardiff con there was a vendor using white gloves to handle peoples collectables while helping with with buying protective gera for their auto's etc first off where can i get some of those gloves from? As the i would prefer no-ones hands touch it but i cant demand stan sticks on gloves so his hands are the only ones that can , i dont even want to touch the comic . secondly where can i buy a nice protective case/frame for the comic to display at home . I have searched up and down the interwebs but as i am a noob im not finding much and hope some comic veterans can help me

    cheers :)

  2. does anyone know where i can find a nice big dollhouse poster( or other merch) I have looked up and down the net finding only a few poor posters and no merch what so ever, and before anyone asks if i tried ebay, amazon etc i have :) , i know at cardiff con there was some poster vendors if anyone has a name or website i can look for now so i dont run the risk of getting to London and not finding what im looking for that would also be appreciated

  3. im not a big comic guy but my fav is the punisher , so ive got a "Punisher #5" in near mint (1986), my only advice would be as the others have said buy before you go, that and just think of your fav comic/tv/film character and get the earliest stuff you can , but be sensible , in my research of what to get i found out the punisher first appeared in spiderman , now that comic goes at about £800 near mint , so unless you got bank think later down the line.

  4. please can there be some more guests from firefly, won the firefly script at cardiff comic con auction and would love to add Nathan Fillion, Joss whedon, Gina Torres, Morena Baccarin, Ron Glass.

anyone from Vampire diaries, breaking bad, buffy, angel, stargate (especially Michael Shanks), would also be awesome

  5. Well done , This con was a great weekend from guests to staff and the whole layout of the arena ,the lines being split and entering at different doors so a traffic jam at the hall doors didnt happen was great, the seating area up top was a nice touch much less "stressful" when you can go up top and take 10 mins to sit down, relax and look over arena and eat lunch without having to find a spot on the floor and fear people walking over you/your stuff , and the talk rooms were much bigger with plenty of seating.

    well done and thank you

  6. besides the dr who experience ( which is the bay) on the other side where the restaurants are etc( 5 mins walk from the DWE) there are some dr who/torchwood locations right next to reach other

the torchwood tower is right in the middle of the bay - next to it is the cardiff visitor centre ( torchwood) its where jack and gwen stand on its roof).

head towards the the water and turn right and walk alongside the water you will eventually get toIanto's shirne ( back entrance to the torchwood hub now a shrine to Ianto)

turn around and follow the water untill you reach a ramp leading the the National Assembly of Wales Building the grey stone steps are the focus (torchwood) its where gwen and rhys are sitting eating an ice cream after rhys learns about aliens /torchwood

You can the walk over to the dr who experience in about 5 mins you cant miss it , its a bug blue building, there may be a water bus running to the DWE if so when you reach the other side you walk up "tardis walk" where you walk underneath a tradis

  7. to be honest everyone is going to be able to say " oh i wish they had so and so of that tv show/film " etc , i mean yeah i would love for more guests to be in the line up but ive a got a nice list of guest i want to meet ( and stuff i want them to sign) so im happy with the guest list when chris judge was announced , i was jumping up and down like a little a girl shouting "oh my god, oh my god" and waving my hands fanning my face. for me chris has made the con for me , everyone else is just extra

im looking forward to london's con as well despite the guest list being alittle thin now , im sure they have many more just hammering out the details, and the guest that are confirmed are fantastic , but to anyone who isnt into breaking bad or star trek, firefly ( why anyone wouldnt be i dont know) or wanting to meet stan lee , then its a poor line up , its down to what shows/films etc you like , showmasters cant win everyone over
