  1. Is there going to be a auction at this event.
  2. Can you confirm if there is going to be a auction at this years event.
  3. Hello they are called buydezignmodels and you can contact them on buydezignmodels@aol.com I bought a walking dead Merle statue of them which looks awesome definatelly going to buy more from them, Great people to deal with as well let me pay a deposit on it at Lfcc and collect it at Glasgow so I didn't have to take it back on the train.
  4. Everyone knows what you have bid on a item you register at the desk at auction area and you are given a unique number you just write down your number on the sheet and then your bid amount so someone just looks at the sheet writes down a high number even if its by 1pence hence the reason why most things are won in the last few minutes and why you will get people hovering around the sheets so they can just outbid you straight away. Hopefully it will work better in Glasgow though.
  5. Oh noes didn't like it at lfcc you had people standing over the item sheet right up to auction closing time and I heard someone say whatever bid you put down I'm just going to put 1 pound more so I wouldn't bother everything is manic at the closing of the auction because that when the majority of the items are won by someone just putting down a pound or 2 more than you. Sure you can just put down the maximum your willing to pay for a item and leave it but you would still be pissed if you got beat by 2 pound and didn't have the opportunity to bid again because someone bids at the last second. On a plus note it is nice to see all the items I just prefer the old auction style put your hand up then if someone outbids you fair enough you know the bid and can come in again if you want and your not caught out by the sneaky last second sheet hoggers lol it not nice but this type of auction rewards this kind of bidding style. Also there is no way of knowing how much the item went for in the end unless you won it of course. Anyway I hope it works out better at Glasgow because it was a decent idea that for me didn't quite work.
  6. Hi nice to see some good items at the auction my fav part of the day and definatelly an improvement on last years if you can improve again on this it should be one of the big highlight of the show I spent 125 quid on Saturday at the auction and got some nice items the only thing was you could have done with more time for next years as it was a bit of a rush as there was quite a lot to get through in 30m maybe a 45minute slot for the auction would be more suited anyway good Improvement form last year.
  7. Will there be a auction this year and if so any chance of some decent items/autographs I thought last years was a bit disappointing I think this is an area that could be expanded as it could give you a chance to bid on some interesting items but a lot of the stuff your trying to auction is just pretty poor tbh. What about even some of the stall holders if they were willing to sell some of there items I'm sure if it was a decent enough item they would get some nice bids even if each stall holder put 1 or 2 items up for auction would just make it better I think anyway. Thanks for listening. Ps please don't answer with the time constraints line.
