  1. Did anyone see the guy with a box on his head walk onto the cosplay stage, think he was metal gear solid dont know if it was part of the show or not???
  2. Different yes, poor and generally bad no! What's interesting is that all the people that are not happy on this forum and at the event do not look to be voting in the pole pinned on page one currently only 20% didn't like it which was at complete odds to what I heard and read.

Thanks for the reply in my world it's very simple to lay the event out do it like comic con I.e. loads of merchandise stalls that can be browsed spend your money and open areas for the stars to sit at and autograph. At LFCC we got to see all the stars even if we didn't want to pay for an auto graph ( we did a few though) but it was great to just say you had see someone in person. DSTL was dark gloomy and closed off didn't have the best of atmospheres Thanks Would have been very simple if it was a pure SM event, but with other organisers involved some things were bound to be different

  5. Thanks for this we will defo attend LFCC 2013 as for us this is an amazing event for the price of an early bird ticket, there is plenty to see and do without paying for extras if you don't want to ... Needless to say we always do!
  6. To start I would like to say how impressed I am by show masters previous events I am one of five friends that meet up to go to London for specific events having previously been to the last 2 movie & comic cons which we thoroughly enjoyed every time, literally the highlight of the year. When destination star trek was announced we decided to go to our second event of the year expecting it to be amazing like comic con although a lot more expensive than a day ticket to comic con, we also decided to buy a ticket for the TNG party on Saturday evening at £25 we thought it was steep but it was going to be good.....so the review..... Saturday day positives ....none other than meeting a few fans Saturday day negatives.... Lack of planning, bad organisation, lack of merchandise, what's with the false walls everywhere couldn't see much felt small and dark unlike comic con, unhelpful staff, one of our group paid for the Shatner talk and felt robbed! Generally all very disappointing. Saturday evening TNG positives.... NONE!!!!!!!! Saturday evening TNG negatives ..... Everything ..... Rubbish sound, rubbish acts what we saw, stupid dodgems, over priced warm beer, poor planning zero atmosphere, nothing Star Trek themed at all, total rip off. Summary, so dissatisfied and disappointed in a show master ran/affiliated event honestly 9 out of 10 people we spoke to at the event were disappointed as for the evening TNG party we all want our money back it was that bad.
  7. Sorry meant to say it was on the Saturday
  8. Did anyone see the 5 guys chatting to all the stars asking if they wanted a beer? I know they bought Hayden a drink but don't know who they were funny though. Anyone see them ?
