Hey all, i am having serious thought about what costume to go in to c5! so i thought id start a thread about what everyones dream costume would be.
rules, the one rule is this is a dream costume so money is no object! extra points are given for wildness and orginaility
well mine would be Either
Spawn : red cloak (with big a ss coller), hanging and balled up chains, black shirt with silver axe design, black mask, with glowing green eyes, black boots.
Link (from legend of zelda) : white trousers, brown boots, green tunic, brown gloves, green hat, pointy ears, gold earing, Master Sword, Hyliian Sheild, boomerang and a bow.

Wow thanks for the large response, i agree with the point abt the guests should be more open or some way of catering to people like me and your good self who are satisfied with pictures of the guests, prehaps a horse shoe style barrier, you walk round, take your pick, walk back no fuss, prehaps limiting the pics with it? who knows, also they could have a photo call, a stage or sumthing, which each guest would go on for 3 mins or sumting during the days they were there, and let everyone take pictures, nb this was sugested by someone else in a different thread i just think its a good idea, id be prepared to not go near the guests if a provision for photograp taking people was made, i respect the people who want autographs and one year i mite get one, bt at the mo i think 15 pounds plus for a squiggle on a peice of paper is a bit to much (my friend had a Elijah wood autograph, and its so hard to c its his!)
anyway yes hugs are good i am a huggy person so i am happy 4 hugs, u cant miss me, i am usualy in a spawn shirt, bt april im gunna try and go as Link from the Legend of Zelda, or maybe Ryu from street fighter

so what did everyone think of this years collectormania, i thought guest wize it was the best one yet bt i was disapointed by the stalls,exept this t-shirt one run by this really nice american lady :) she sold me a really beautiful Ghost In The Shell t-shirt, i aslo got the bike from Akira bt no one had the Kanida figure to ride it
, i was annoyed i didnt get a kill bill poster bt im sure one will turn up at some point! i also got a really nice picture set of Allison Hannigan (please let her come to 5 or 6!) a purple lightsabre :) ive always wanted one! and i also met a lot of nice people, (i met the Uhraki man in the shops today, he was really nice) particualy on monday i was talking to this girl who was sitting near Elijahs stand, and i was talkin abt getting his picture, she told me to go outside and take one through the window, which i did, i didnt bang the window like the mindless hordes infront of me, i then went back inside and thanked her and showed her the picture which she complimented, by the way if you are reading this thank you again! anyway so what do you guys think :)Me

i saw a few teenage girls dressed up as various things the best one was a lara croft who i asked if i could take her picture and she said yes, i also saw a jay and a silent bob, i am now thinking about dressing up for the april one :0) i have had only 2 ideas so far, i want something original :)
1 ) Link from the legend of zelda games, easy to do but my prob with it is that everyone would think i was somthing else, legolass for example the reason being link is an elf and has a bow, he also has a sword and sheild and a boomerang :)
2) Todd McFarlane's Spawn Character :) my fave comic and i always wear my spawn shirt to CM id love to dress up as him,

i didnt mean go to meet him for free, i just want his picture for free, i would be prepared to meet him for a resonable price, bt £20 pounds is a little expesive, caus as a lot of people seem to be saying, he wrote his name shook your hand and thats it, but i dont know if i can comment as i wasnt there yesterday and didnt see how busy it was

Hey is it worth trying tommorow to go? i really want a Picture of Elija Wood, i am not a rich man, i cant afford £20 pounds for the man to write his name on a peice of paper, but id really like to meet him and get a picture, also i have promised my friend a picture of him :) i managed to get Kirstana Loken she smiled at me
made my day, also finding a Ghost in the Shell T-Shirt was cool! i had a cool time saturday, i had the good sense not to try to go today, and want to try tommorow :)is it a good idea?

hello this is my 1st post, i agree with some of these points raised and i disagree with others, i agree that it was abismaly run and set out especialy saturday, i had the good sense not to try for today, i am goin 9 am tommorow morning with a hope of atleast a photo of mr Elija Wood, i am afraid i was probably one of the "gawkers" that the starter of this topic was talking about, but only as i had my camera on me and was desperatly tryin to get a picture of Kirstana Loken for a dear friend of mine who could not make it this year, i succeded just about, i managed to just walk into the rope barrier by accident
before she went for lunch and took a stunning picture, i now must say my peice of disagreement, not all of us can afford £15-£20 pounds for someone to write their name on a peice of paper/photo, all i wanted was some pictures as a memorie of the people who came, i was'nt causing trouble for those who where prepared to pay for signitures, i was simply trying to furfill a promise to a friend, an idea for CM5 is to have to lines one for autographs and one for people taking photos (not posed, i agree posed photos should be either paid for at a rate less than autographs or done on a differant day) which would be in a horse shoe lay out you walk round and when you get to the curve take your picture and walk back, and on the subject of moving CM, dont i live in milton keynes, and it would damage our town to lose this event as it brings a lot of joy and happines to locals such as myself, and i agree to much money to the shops and stuff around Middleton Hall, i hope my 1st post wasnt to contreverialthank you for listening
